I bought this splitter to try some meditation with "Om Chant" meditation with my wife. I've found earbuds work well for meditation and really help to immerse you in the sound versus playing meditation music over a speaker. I've also found specifically that "Om Chant" meditations that do the trick of helping me to get in a calm state whether the intent is to clear my mind, think positive or grateful thoughts, or to help fall asleep. But of course, sharing just one set of earbuds isn't exactly sanitary or as immersive as having a full set to yourself. I bought this splitter with the single purpose of connecting two wired earbuds to a Kindle Fire tablet. It worked great!This is a quality splitter cable. It's not crazy cheap, but it worked exactly as it should. The red color helps me find it easily when it's laying on a nightstand, coffee table or dresser. Seems decent quality too as it has a bit of weight to it. Happy with the purchase!

The cable can both send and receive 2 forms of audio depending on how you plug things in. Being able to listen to 2 audio inputs at once was one of the unspoken features I loved about the Prtukyt 6S headphones (got them off here too), because you were able to listen to audio through both bluetooth and the audio jack cable at the same time so this meant you could do what I do and play music on YouTube with Bluetooth while being able to listen to in game audio on your Xbox while playing video games. If you plug the single Male end of the audio splitter into your headphones and then connect 2 different Male audio cables into the 2 Female ends, you can do practically the same thing by connecting 1 wire into your controller and another into your phone to get 2 sources of audio at the same time which is amazing. And it does exactly like should splitting audio out 2 ways if you plug the Male end into your audio source and then plug in headphones or speakers to the 2 Female ends for 1 source of audio being split to 2 different outputs.In short, you can either plug 2 inputs into the Female ends and plug the Male end into your headphones or whatever if you want to take in 2 audio inputs at once OR split 1 audio input into 2 through the Female ends. The cable also has a really nice exterior with a good braid on the cable sections and a strong metal casing that doesn't feel cheap at all for the ends of the cable. All in all, it's perfect for what I need it for. It even comes in a really small cute packaging you can keep it in when you're not using it.
