So, are they the victim of the fiscal cliff or just the Mayan Calendar at work? And, on a more serious note, if anyone is actually planning on buying these on Amazon, do note that it is coming from an independent/partner vendor so look at price and shipping fees closely, and do your due diligence in researching the seller's ratings. I decided to order a box of these famous twinkies, cause I have heard and seen so much about them on Tv in american shows and movies that I simply wanted to taste one before they went out of stock. And since I live in Denmark, I had never tried one.They were, however, very delicious and my family and I enjoyed them very much.The delivery arrived on time, a few days before actually, I think.So I would definitely recommend them to someone here who hasn't tried them yet ;)

We bought these to use as a joke gift for some friends. We were unable to find them anywhere else so we paid the inflated price. I was disappointed to find that they had expired expiration dates but I am not sure my friends would eat them anyway.

The title header for this item is confusing, it says "2 boxes 20 cakes." What you are getting is a total of 20 individually wrapped twinkies. These are the same 10 pack boxes you can buy at any grocery store across the U.S. In the detailed description of the item it does say 2 boxes of 10 but you have to look hard for it amongst all the other information on a typical Amazon page. I thought I was getting 40 cakes for the listed price which would have been a good deal but I might as well have just gone to the store and bought these cheaper and not paid shipping.

I bought these fro a friend in OZ. They are uniquely American and I was happy with my purchase. I am glad Twinkies are being madeas they are a taste of my childhood.

My granddaughter (age 11) had been so upset when she learned that Hostess was going out of business and she had "never had a Twinkie in her whole life!". Of course, shortly after that announcement, the search for Twinkies at a reasonable price began. Amazon came to our rescue just before Christmas. The look on her face when she opened the box was priceless.

The twinkies came with fast shipping. The expiration date was very close, but was explained with the extra letter attached. Was disappointed when some started showing mold smashing the myth about twinkies shelf live.
