Catch them, not kill them
Nice live mousetraps for those who'd rather relocate than eradicate the little creatures. These work well, though we had better luck with the smaller plastic ones, we've caught a few with these as well.

Live mouse traps
I have ordered these for years, and have caught many mice. They do work, except I think the mice are getting smarter. They run around the trap but don’t go in. I need to change the bate that I use.

VERY easy to use
This trap is really convenient because you can instantly see in the window if one or more has entered. We also know because we put the nuts right in the middle and we can see if they are gone. Yes, we do have a Houdini that has figured out how to depress the ramp back down to get out but that has only happened twice in a month and we have caught over 30 deer mice. We had a service out to seal up the holes in the exterior of our house and she thinks in about 2 months, we'll have caught any that were already inside and get big enough to leave the nest in search for food. We take them about 40 - 50 yards into the woods to a large woodpile that is now probably a mouse condiminium. She said field/deer mice are not as desperate to get back into the house like a house mouse because they do not rely on us for food and we should be fine with how far away we are taking them but the biggest fix was going to be sealing up the exterior holes. She charged us $275 and wanted to do poison also but I said no to that. Eventually, they will all be gone once the holes are sealed. This trap works especially well if you are close enough to hear them enter (which ours is because it is under the sink in our kitchen) or if you check often (we check every 1 - 3 hours) and other than the one genius, the other mice have not been in the trap long enough to figure out how to get back out. Since it is cold, we first put them in a hamster cage until it gets above 15 - 20 degrees. We like to catch at least 2 before releasing together so they can huddle and stay warm in the cold. They're probably all related so we figured they're like "Hey Jim! Looks like you got caught too, huh? Well, at least we'll get to go to the woodpile together and see Mike and Tom. They went missing last night."

Haven’t caught anything
Haven’t caught any mice and I know we have at least four of them around the units. They have been sitting there since I got them and the mice haven’t gone in them. They are filled with the same food they were stealing from my chickens. The plastic cover on the top is great to see inside, however, it isn’t very strong and a raccoon was able to get inside of one of them. I’ve tried many products and this one hasn’t preformed any better than the other humane traps.

It works! I caught two the first night using them!
I had been catching mice with traditional snap traps, but recently I noticed the food had been taken and the traps not sprung on all of them. I realized I had some clever mice. So I ordered these.I have to say that when I received this, I was skeptical it would work. However, I followed the advice from other reviews and placed some peanut butter on a piece of tin foil in each trap and left them overnight. The next morning one I placed in the kitchen caught two mice in the same trap! The other trap I placed in another room was empty. It seems they caught my two elusive bandits, as I have had captured no more since.I like the quality of the product, as they are made from galvanized aluminum are are robust. The window on top makes it easy to see if you caught them. I learned that the best way to see if you have mice in the trap is to see if there are any droppings. They hide out of view. They do not always disturb or move the tin foil, but you will see the black specks all over the shiny aluminum. The you have the option of relocating them and releasing them or just dropping the trap in water to drown them. The traps clean up very easy if you use tin foil for the bait. They are also a good low profile design so you can slide them under a cabinet or furniture if you want them out of sight. They are a whole lot less trouble than the traditional snap traps! The design also keeps my dogs out of it. I am very pleased with the product and results.

Either Mighty Mouse is here or 2 of the 4 are bad
Two of the four traps are working, the other two don't keep any mice in and they are enjoying the peanut butter or as I said Mighty Mouse lives at my neighbors home.I am going to try to cover the one side of each trap that doesn't trap (as far as I can tell) to try to get my money's worth of this purchase. Not totally terrible, but not what I had hoped for.

Humanely captures unexpected visitors
My daughter had an unexpected mom and baby visitor. This gem humanely trapped them both so they could be safely returned to their natural home to live happily ever after. :) Great product.

Mouse buffet
Based on previous reviews, I thought the mice would be lining up to enter this trap. Instead, the mice (or mouse) was able to enter the trap, nibble on the food, and leave. Two nights in a row.

Easy to use and effective
I placed a couple in our attached garage. A couple of years ago during a very cold winter mice had made a nest under the hood of my SUV. Wires were chewed through and the vehicle needed complete detailing. I was without a vehicle for a month. I want to avoid this from happening again. I had borrowed this same type of trap from my neighbour at the time and they proved very effective.

Near to useless!
These boxes are useless for mice! Bought 2 put them in my workshop baited with peanut butter, the next day half the peanut butter was gone and replaced with mouse droppings but NO mice! These boxes are so poorly made that they are full of gaps big enough for the mice to escape! Gone back to snap traps and mouse problem in my workshop gone! Tried to be humane but had to give up because of these poor quality traps! Don't waste your money on these!

Waste of money.
Waste of money. trying to modify the doors to prevent mice from exiting. These traps are meant to be used with sticky sheets that trap and kill the mice. They are not true live traps. They deserve a negative star!
