Works for 03-09 4Runner
This is the correct replacement filter for a 03-09 Toyota 4Runner. Not much to say, seems like a good filter for a good price ($8-9).If you've got a 4th gen 4Runner, make sure you buy this style slimmer filter with the borders on the sides, NOT the thicker blocky filter--that one is only for the 5th gen--Amazon said it would fit but it does not, had to return the first one I got and get this one.

Why pay more if you don’t have to?
I am so glad we found this. I needed to replace my cabin filter in my car. The dealership wanted to charge me $60 just to change filter. What in the world? I bought this for $7, received it quickly. I was able to install by myself and I still had money left over for something else my car needed. Ladies it is so easy to do this yourself! Why pay someone to do it for you?

Immediately fixed my air quality
Not too long ago, I bought my car. Every time I turned on the air conditioner it would smell like an old musty wet rag for a few minutes and my nose would start to plug up really badly. It never dawned on me that there was a filter for this. So, when I put the TYC 800005P Toyota Replacement Cabin Air Filter. I was surprised and happy at the same time to find out that I can actually fix this problem. I tackled changing the filter by myself and was surprised at how easy it was to change it. It was located behind the glove box. Everything went smoothly and I got the new filter in without any problems. The glove box was easy to remove and put back on, it just took a little bit of muscle. Boy, that old filter was plum full of dirt and debris. I'm happy to say that the new filter is working perfectly. Now, when I turn on the air conditioner, the smell is gone! It immediately took care of the odor problem.
