This trimmer Line is nice! Easy to use, strong, and last long. Cuts grass and weeds very well. No problems with my trimmer.

This is a great string for my battery powered trimer. Seemed to last as long as any other string I've used. It was a great price, so I decide to give it a try. I'm completely satisfied with this purchase.

I use a cub cadet st100 wheeled string trimmer to mow my lawn and do everything else that I need. This string line gave me a cleaner look in my lawn with how it nicely cuts grass and ground cover, but it also took a lot longer as it wore at the edges and my radius of cutting was continually reduced. My yard looks better than it did with the previous square magnum gatorline I was using, but it also took significantly longer. This line was so much softer and pliable compared to the gatorline I thought I accidentally bought a smaller diameter until I double checked. I had to replace the line much more often as well.Overall this string gives good cutting results but lacks durability even for cutting tasks that don't seem that intensive to me. I will use the rest of this roll and either return to the gatorline or try another option. Surely there is a line that combines durability and clean cutting performance.

This string works very well in my Dewalt weed eater. Saves time by not requiring the string to be changed as often! Cuts grass and weeds very easy and when used for edging, holds up well against concrete/asphslt

Line isn't just thick but also star-shaped so it slices through brush very well if you have the power behind it. Line also lasts a long time, all things considered. Will definitely get again.

It seems to be stronger than the other line we have used in the past

Price point was good quality not so much. I went through a whole dual reel and used twice as much as factory brand. Not for me. Just my opinion only

This is the first review I have ever written to complain that the quality of a product is too high. Not something you often get to do. For real though— I bought this string for a Ridgid electric weed whacker and matched the specs to what it said— .95 gauge. No problem.Wound the cord on there, pulled the trigger and the cord wrapped around the head multiple times until it caught and stopped the motor from spinning.My immediate thought was I wound it wrong. Cut it loose, trimmed it shorter… pushed the button… WHAM WHAM WHAM… horrible noise… motor unhappy. What’s wrong?!I’ll spare you a longer story but what was going on was that the cord was so strong that when it was hitting the little metal piece that is supposed to cut off the excess after you bump advance, it wasn’t able to cut it due to the cord being too tough.I literally had to get out a blade sharpener and sharpen the metal trimmer piece to a razor edge for it to even begin thinking of cutting this cord. Even then it makes an awful noise and struggles mightily.So I was like what they hey, let me see what this cord will do cause this is just ridiculous.I took it to a sapling… and it demolished it. Probably a quarter or half inch thick. Cord didn’t even have to be advanced. Sapling lost the battle. Went through some nasty brush. Cord untouched. At this point I just wanted the cord to break. I was looking for rocks and metal just to prove that I could do it. I needed to break the cord before it broke me.20 minutes later after I stopped crying… I accepted that some things just aren’t meant to be.All that being said, maybe it’s because it’s an electric weed whacker and it’s not as powerful as a gas trimmer but dang. The cord that came with it I could advance and the trim piece always did away with the extra length.Not anymore.So my recommendation is maybe skip the 200 foot roll and go for 16’ because I’m not sure you’ll ever have to bump for more string. This stuff is hardcore. It’s like if a licorice stick had a love child with a length of rebar.I will probably have to restring with some wimpier cord just so I can not destroy my equipment. No joke.But all joking aside, this is strong stuff and if you’re cutting brush or thick weeds, this is probably great. It doesn’t break easily at all. It might not even break, period. Good luck.

I bought this for my wheeled trimmer, which I use for the toughest ground-clearing jobs on the property.This trimmer uses two loops of cutting line on the trimmer head, not the typical endless line that you see on regular bump-and-go trimmers. Despite this line being 0.155 diameter, I found I have to replace the loops of line after every 5-10 minutes of use. It would probably work fine on less demanding jobs.

I was searching for some good string because the one I was using was constantly breaking and it was really annoying. First, I bought string from Canadian Tire and I bought thicker one, hoping that it will be more durable and will not break so easily since I have very large property with a lots of rocks and roots. It was holding fairly well on easy surface, but once I got to the rocky terrain, it was breaking up perhaps every 5 minutes. So I started searching for something else. I am usually very skeptical about reviews so when I read review for this string, I was hoping that at least 50% is true.Well, this may sound like I was paid by the manufacturer to promote this particular string here. Of course, I was not paid. But I have to declare with all seriousness - THIS IS THE BEST STRING I EVER HAD in my over 60 years of existence on this planet. I finished second cleaning of the property and THIS STRING DID NOT BREAK UP ONCE !!!!! On top of that, it is cutting like razor blade!!! Even at lower speed, this is absolutely incredible string ! I still cannot believe it, seriously. I tried numerous different strings already, but none of them comes even close to this one !!! And the trimmer even goes from lower speed to high speed almost instantly, as oppose when I had the thicker string. It is UNBELIEVABLE how this one performs !!!I have to say that this is absolute MUST for anyone who is using trimmers. Cutting like razor blade, not breaking up at all and lasting seriously forever !!!Don't even look on other strings, just buy this one and trust me, you will not be disappointed and will save money. This is TOP QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE !!! Huge thank you to the manufacturer !!!
