I got these for Christmas because it looked like a great set. I liked the packaging and the paper included is really great. Actually the paper is the only reason I’m not returning the set. My first watercolor brush acted like a magic marker that ran out. Thinking it a fluke I tried 2 more. Same thing. I applied a lot of water and that did not help. This is a case where you cannot judge a product by its cover. I ended up using my old watercolor brushes and they had a lot more color and blend. Now I’m off to rebuy those. Buyer beware. It’s not what you think even for someone who wants to give it as a gift to a kid.

The colors very nice easy to use. But your container is a pain. The pens go everywhere when you pull one out. So i am several minutes putting the pens bake in number order. I like the color chart to look over and pick my color so its nice to have them in order. I guess i will figure out another way to store the pens. Any ideals would be helpful.

I've been wanting to get back into watercolors for a while now. I have been hearing some cool things about water brush styled paints so I thought I'd give them a go, not totally knowing what to expect. Bottom line - I'm super impressed with how versatile and easy these pens are to use.I feel like I'm able to focus on my composition a good deal more than I used to when using traditional water color. There's no need to have a tray filled with muddied up colors and have water dripping everywhere. These keep things clean and simple and really let you get right down to your art.I'll definitely be buying these again when they run out!

For soft colors and edges, these brush pens needs to be used on wet paper. Use the pens on dry paper and they will not dissolve as well to soften the color odor edges.A huge disappointment was to see that they were all made in China. I thought I supported a US company with manufacturing in US.

Bought several sets of these for some young ones/tweens on Spring Break.They ABSOLUTELY LOVED them!Made some very pretty art w/them!
