Works great for Kick Drum Mic - Shure Beta 52A
I needed a stand for my kick drum mic in the practice space. This stand has a very heavy base making it very stable. It wasn't hard to put together. Plenty of articulation to get in the proper position. No issues with a Shure Beta 52A mic. VEry decent for the price. It comes with two mic thread adapters, one is metal the other is plastic. I used the plastic one with my mic. I would have prefered metal but the plastic is just fine. It tightens down well with minimal movement throughout the whole stand. Good deal for the price.

Great product
First of all, fantastically weighted to ensure the mic stays put. This is important when a device is so small, because it would have no way of staying put otherwise if it was not weighted appropriately. The actual build quality is top-notch… Despite it being small, it is built in a professional way with solid metal. I can’t say enough good about it. Please note that there are other mic stands out there that do not have a boom stick… If you don’t need this, I would not recommend this product because it will make the mic less compact , space wise… For me, this was an absolute necessity, and I think it is built appropriately and compact enough for this requirement.

Solid piece of kit
A value selection and holding no surprises from that standpoint, the Innogear mic stand is a solid choice for a tabletop unit.It offers a weighty base for good stability on flat surfaces (it’s non-adjustable for uneven surfaces) with a grippy, non-marring base pad. It’s probably too heavy for a regular travel kit, though the base does unscrew to pack down.It is adjustable via simple dials for height, reach, and boom angle, but the mic attachement point is fixed. A swivel attachement point would be posh, but this is good for basic desktop needs.Materials quality is decent, and should offer a decent service life on a home desktop. For example, the reach adjustment uses a simple threaded bolt to set position, but the boom runs through a plastic sleeve, so the set screw does not contact and scratch or foul the boom arm, which is a nice touch that elevates this beyond cheap, as does the fact all the hardware is black, including pivot bolts and set screw heads. The overall look is good; not stylish, not cheap, just rather basic.I’m using 2 of these for an occasional podcast setup holding Rode NT Mini USB mics, and they do the job. Recommended for basic needs.

Great Stand For T Maono PD200x Mic
Well I got this stands for my 2 Maono pd200x mics.Well they can handle the mic extremely well.no tip over no matter how you position the mic with boom arm fully extended.1 negative the Big wire clip at the bottom by the base, snapped like a twig when I try to remove it.velcro strips would of been better.but I do recommend and I still give it 5 stars.

Sturdy, well-built and a solid buy
Bought this to help with my podcast. We were recording in a hotel lobby and I needed a couple of mic stands for table-top use to take the place of the extending boom arms I usually employ to hold the mics. These weighted stands are very stable and held the mics securely while giving the video portion of the podcast a more professional feel.I managed to slightly chip the finish (my fault) but some quick use of a sharpie covered that right up.I would judge this a good value for the money.

Functionality is all there
Pros:- Heavy base, very capable of holding microphone with arm fully extended.- Strong hinge. I never experienced any give with the weight of my microphone, the AT2035.- Comfortable locks. Locking mechanisms are easy to tighten and loosen.- Height. Height is adequate for having the stand on a desk.- Feels like it will last -if treated well, of course.- Clean. It looks sleek. I like the turn lock, its minimal looking.- Comes with a microphone holder and screw adapterCons:- U-clip Fragile. The smaller clip on the top axis broke with little effort. I received the product and I attempted to remove the clip with even force as to not pull it apart. It broke down the middle. I contacted customer service and told them that part broke and if they could send me a replacement part. They shipped me a new replace stand. The clip broke on that one too - on the first try. Perhaps its me, and I dont know how to remove clips. But I think I do, as I have had no problems with the bigger clip. I resorted to using a Velcro strap as visible in the photo. Its not a deal breaker to me as I could get a pack of these, but its a bit disappointing.

Couldn't hold the weight even straight out in front lined up with the base
This was my third attempt to get a microphone stand for my simple little MA-67 condenser microphone for a recording studio I'm setting up in one of the unused bedrooms in my house. This one I liked, the stops were all solid, I could tighten it and keep things from moving, unlike the first one I tried that couldn't even hold the microphone up - it kept drooping down, and with the cheap plastic knobs I didn't want to tighten further than I already did.None of those issues here. But the downside was that this is sitting on my keyboard, lined up roughly with the sheet music stand built in, on the side. It fit perfectly, was unobtrusive. But I had to extend the boom forward for it to reach the few spots I would need it. And with my microphone, it just wasn't stable. At the highest height, it would tip over with just a very slight bump. it wasn't quite as bad when the height was lowered to the lowest setting - but it was still too unstable. And I would've been utterly unable to use it pivoted to either side off of the straight lineup with the base plate - the whole thing started tipping then.So I'm off once again to see if maybe the FOURTH time is the charm...
