I’d never heard of the Rocketbook before, but as I was scrolling Amazon looking for another Christmas gift for my son, I stumbled upon an ad for it. I ended up buying it and all of the accessories I could find. My son is majoring in GIS and I figured this would be an ideal product for him to take notes in and configure maps and charts. It’s easy to use and just as easy to download his notes. He loves it!

I like the material, it makes it feel sturdy. This will definitely keep scratches off your new Rocketbook Flip.The inner pockets also have space for the tiny towels, your pens and even a tiny Rocketbook flip to keep tiny notes handy.Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase!

The RocketBook Flip Capsule folio is what I expected, which means that it may or may not be right for you. I'll do my best to write out my thoughts so that you know what to expect.Style, Material, & Quality:- I purchased the RocketBook Flip Capsule in the Executive Size in Black.- The material on the outside is 100% Recycled PET. It feels like it would be durable and would resist scratches or snags. In addition, it's water resistant. I feel that it should withstand abuse over time, but can't report back on its longevity yet as I've only had it for a week.- The material and build looks good enough that this folio would fit in well within a work or meeting setting.- Quality control could be a little better for the price - I noticed a loose string in the stitching that is visible in the photos I shared. I'll just snip it off, but it would have been better if that hadn't been present in the first place.Size:- One of my favorite things about the RocketBook Flip is its slim profile, and I knew adding the folio would add bulk. The Flip itself is 6"w x 8.8"h and the Flip Capsule folio measures about 8.25 x 9.5, adding about 2 inches to the width and a little less than 1 inch to the height. The folio also doubles the thickness of the Flip alone. Based on how it feels in the hand, the Executive size folio doesn't feel massive. It's a very reasonable size and easy to support one-handed. However, I could see how the Letter size folio might start to feel large and heavy.Usability:- The RocketBook Flip Capsule performs as expected - it provides support, a hard writing surface, protection, and extra storage for the RocketBook Flip. In the future I will probably use the Flip alone at times and with the folio at others.- I watched a YouTube video in which the reviewer mentioned that he enjoyed using the folio in a creative way - flip the pages over to the outside of the back of the folio and use it like a firm clipboard. I'm not sure if this was by design, but I love it! I often use the folio this way and it works like the charm. (See photo for what I mean.) When I'm done, I flip the pages back into the folio and I'm ready to go. I actually prefer writing on it this way, and I think this would be a great solution for those lefty writers in the comments who were struggling with the folio.- I don't love the way that the magnetic closure on the right-hand side of the folio folds into the page when you are writing. I can see that the firm support inside of the fabric is folded such that it will automatically close more easily, but this distracts from the writing experience as your wrist is always pushing the closure open.Sustainability:- RocketBook markets this product as "100% Recyclable PET Material" on the package (I'm not sure if that was a typo and was supposed to be "recycled," as their website states instead). The sustainability of this product depends on the recycling guidelines of your particular area, since plastic and blended materials can be particularly hard to recycle. I believe this item uses kraft paper on the inside as structure for the polyester, making it unlikely that it's recyclable. Thus the sustainability of this item over time really relies on how long you can get use out of it. My recommendation would be to take good care of this item for as long as you can, knowing that it will go to the landfill at the end of its life.PROS:- Fits the RB Flip perfectly- Provides hard writing surface- Protects RB Flip well- Works great as a makeshift clipboard- Pen loop works great- Style and quality is good and seems professional and durableCONS:- Adds bulk to the RB Flip (Just a fact of with this type of item, not a flaw! If you want ultimate slimness, use the Flip on its own)- Maybe difficult for left-handed users to use if crammed full of items- Closure can be annoying for right-handed users- A bit costly, but I think it's appropriate for a quality customized item. I would just like to see the quality control go up a tiny bit.

This is a great tool for people who write, draw or take notes a lot in a day. It has a great funtionality for integrate with several cloud storage services, and the app is very easy to learn.

I didn’t think I really needed this capsule folio cover but I’m so glad I got one. I needed it more than I realized. I always misplace the pen to write with and am looking for the cloth to wipe the pages clean. This cover is perfect to keep it all in one place with some extra pockets for cards, etc. it is really a nice complement to the flip Rocketbook.

This is perfect for my flip book I like to diurnal a lot and this capsule puts everything together and in place for me.

I’ve been a fan of Rocketbook for the last year. I’ve always been more inclined to using flip style notebooks. So as soon as the flip came out, I bought one.Considering I’m spending more time at home than normal - instead of hanging out at a coffee shop or the library to do my research, I’m on the couch or on the porch - without a hard surface.I love that I can flip the paper backwards and use the back of the capsule like a clipboard.My only annoyance fabric - my dogs fur clings to it more than other fabrics. But other than that - it’s perfect.

I'm new to the rocket book. I received one as a Christmas present, and I thoroughly enjoy it. This folio cover is a great addition as it keeps everything together (cloth and pen). Furthermore, the magnetized closure eliminates buttons or snaps that can break or get ripped.

Ormai sono mesi che lo uso e mi ritengo molto contento. Per chi come me preferisce prendere appunti a mano c'è davvero un risparmio di carta. Le pagine si cancellano bene, consiglio di usare uno spruzzino per piante prima di passare il panno e poi asciugare con un po' di carta assorbente. Non uso molto la app, ma anche quella funziona bene.

Bought the Rocketbook for my partner and he said he needed a cover too. This did the job perfectly. Needless to say he was delighted with it!

Super cool concept and design. I love the recycled aspect of this product and it being safe for the earth. The rocket book comes separate but totally worth purchasing all together. Glad I don't have to use as much paper and sticky notes. I do NOT use the app provided by the brand to upload notes. Instead I use my own and upload them into my phone for safety and security. Can't trust the cloud these days as information could leak. 5 stars for the folio !
