Sharp!
For the price, this is a nice, sharp knife. It does feel a little cheap and plastic-y, but it's an ornament more than anything so who cares. I don't plan on getting into any knife fights. It's very attractive and, I'll say it again, sharp!

Happy with Purchase
The Sgain Dubh is really not bad. I was expecting a lesser quality, but honestly, it's not bad. The blade seems to be attached fairly well. The design on the handle and sheath is fine. It is an inexpensive way to up your look. Yes, you can pay a lot more and maybe get a better look. But for a few bucks, and the fact that when it's in your Kilt Hose, you are only seeing a fraction of the handle, yeah, works well for me.

I paid less than nine dollars for this item. It is hefty and very decorative. You cannot find a better bargain and I highly recommend it.

Works as expected
Works well as a letter opener. The scabbard won't stay on which is annoying.

So i got this in spite if all the negative reviews and i am glad i did. I was looking for an athame. Not a dagger or proper knife like it isn't supposed to be sharp and i wanted it to be small. So this is exactly what i was looking for.Having said that yes the handle and sheath are both made of plastic. The metal looks like it would chip or rub off with excessive use. So the quality is subpar for an item that will be used daily. the wear and tear of daily use would tear this item up. For occasional light use it is perfect such as use as an athame. The tip is pretty pointy though but not a razor sharp edge but don't going run with it either.

Plastic other than blade
Not sure how this has great reviews. BUYER BEWARE!! This knife is of average quality. The sheath and handle are COMPLETELY plastic and upon opening the tip was broken off the sheath revealing the tip of the knife unprotected. Again THE ENTIRE KNIFE OTJER THAN THE BLADE IS PLASTIC!!! COMPLETE TRASH!! Oh, and how is a pineapple some druid symbol. What a joke
