Topbest Outdoor Series Antiglare Sun Shade Lens Cap for DJI OSMO Handheld PTZ Camera, Inspire 1 X3 (Sun Shade)

I bought this before receiving my Osmo thinking it'd be great to have a lens hood but so far not noticing much of a difference. I suppose it'll provide a bit of protection if you remember to bring it. It is a tight fit if you leave it on and put it in the Osmo case. You'll have to remove the lens cover to leave it on though. It fits on nice and snug yet easy to remove too (intentionally I mean, it never slipped off). If you shoot a lot just off axis of the sun, this would be more worthwhile but I don't so it's nice to know I have it for those occasions but definitely not a must have item.

When I was approached to review this for my camera I was very happy to oblige. The shade came and was in excellent factory condition. There were no problems attaching this to the camera and the performance was as I anticipated. I have given this three stars due to the picture of the product as advertised. This can be deceiving to a prospective purchaser thinking they are getting more than just a shade. Otherwise I am happy with this product.

It fits and works but you have to put in on after the head spins when you start it as it gets in the way of the starting procedure.

This is a great low cost sun shade that clicks perfectly onto the screw on filters. It most likely won't work with circular polarizers and fader ND's because how it clicks on seems very much fitted for the thinner and narrower default screw-ons. So keep this in mind if you plan to put a lot of filters in front of your lens.

It works and is necessary for sunny outdoor shots, especially when you tilt up. I wouldn't go without it. I only wish it would fit on my camera when I pack it up in the cool DJI sturdy bag, but I have to take it off for the camera to fit.

Maybe it fits the Osmo but I can verify that it does not fit the Osmo+. It's rigid plastic with 1/8" breaks top and bottom assumably to allow enough flex for it to snap on ... but it doesn't. I'm a strong guy and I tried with all my might to snap it on but was afraid I might break the camera, or the gimbal, or the hood, or my hand if I pushed any harder. I have a nice circular bruise/dent in my palm from the effort. I have 35+ years shooting and have worked with all kinds of broadcast and consumer gear so it's pretty unlikely the problem is me.
