Barberboss – Customer Service 5*+++I purchased Barberboss hair trimmer back in September 2020 via Amazon, despite a few negative comments, I am so glad I did. Battery life absolutely excellent, only had to top up a charge once or twice a year, it never went below 80! Mind you, I was only cutting hubby’s hair every 6 weeks, give or take a week or two, but even so! Cutting ability, excellent and nice gently hum from the battery. Then about 10 days ago, went to trim hubby’s hair and the trimmer was… totally dead. I contacted Barberboss, who’s response was unbelievably good. They advised that best to charge trimmer via desktop pc or laptop using USB cable provided (I wasn’t). However, even though out of warranty (4.5 years) they said they would replace my trimmer and cable free of charge! Now, you certainly can’t get any better than that!New trimmer arrived, again, excellent cutting only slight downside, they are a tad noisier that previous trimmer, but that is probably nit picking a bit!The trimmer is excellent and cuts better than some well know trimmers I’ve had in the past. I can highly recommend Barberboss, you certainly won’t be disappointed in the trimmer or their customer service, which is second to none.

Bought this in September 2020 very good hair clippers, Battery lasts ages, think i have recharged it three times in four years, i lost the charging cable after four years , contacted the seller via amazon they where in touch with me the next working day and posted a new cable that day for free.What amazing customer service and a very good productWould not hesitate to buy again and highly recommend this company

Upon unpacking this trimmer, I was immediately struck by the build quality. Everything is well-made, thr guide attachments are solid and will last for years and it looks the business too! On charging, I discovered one really irritating drawback, it charges via USB with an included cable. It's standard USB at one end, but the other end is a two-pin connector, the same as my Philips razor, not a USB C or micro USB. This means that you have to make sure you keep the cable safe, otherwise you're in trouble!Once fully charged, you can tell this by the led display, I tried it for the first time and I was extremely impressed. The ceramic cutter is very sharp, the best one I've ever tried, and I've tried several different makes over the years. One review commented on the noise, but it's no more noisy than a mains trimmer. It was very light to use, the lack of a power cable made it very easy to switch hands and the results were impressive. I'm very happy with the trimmer and have no hesitation recommending it. If it wasn't for the daft two-pin connector instead of USB C, It would have been an easy 5 star rating!Edit 7/09/2024:I have just used my trimmer and it refused to switch off. It will now not charge, the digital display shows garbage and I'm extremely disappointed! It's less than two years old and has only been recharged three or four times, so it's not had a hard life! I'm really not impressed!

I bought this during lockdown to cut my dad’s hair, and since then he hasn’t bothered going back to the barbers as the clippers work so well! The kit it comes with make the job easy, and to be honest it’s already paid for itself after just 3 haircuts! It’s saved him now around £40 in haircuts.The battery lasts for absolutely ages, and I really like the percentage readout display it has. Absolute value for money, and it genuinely does a brilliant job.

I bought this product a little over a year ago, and it suddenly stopped charging. It was a very good trimmer and I thought, I'll just contact their customer service team to see if anything can be done. They responded within 24hrs to resolve the issue, and immediately sent out a replacement product. Very rare to encounter such good customer service.The product itself is a gem. It's waterproof and length can be adjusted. It's a nice colour too, and the charge holds for a good long time. I've never had any issues with it before it had its malfunction and as I said, customer service was so fast my hair has really hardly had time to grow between an issue developing and a new one reaching me!

This is easy to use, light weight and worked well out of the box. The battery life is incredible compared to my old clippers and the LED counter shows you just how much power is left, so you don't have to worry about the clippers stopping half-way through a cut.Unfortunately, my first clippers died after a few months. It turned out this was because I hadn't appreciated that the USB charging lead (there's no plug) should only be put into a 5V charging plug or a device such as laptop. So, basically, I 'blew' the battery. My only criticism is that this issue could have been emphasised more in the instructions. On the other hand, the Barberboss customer services dept were great and they gave me a replacement even though I had caused the damage. So 5+ stars for customer service.
