works great. I use it picking up metal from my shop table and where I drop metal on the floor. strong enough for not embedded metal. beats bending over.

Not the strongest or heaviest duty but this works just fine for my needs to pick up magnetic tumbling media

I bought this because I had previously purchased the smaller 8 unit which I liked a lot but wanted a larger pickup area, not necessarily the added weight capacity. It seems that this unit has 3 magnets inside of it that work well and I have no reason to say that it would not pickup and hold the rated 16 pounds but the magnets cover only 3 relatively small areas. So if you need weight capacity, this will probably work well for you. But if you are picking up a lot of small items as I am you might not be as satisfied as with the smaller one. Still a good product.

Even with not expecting much for the price, it was still disappointing. Would work fine for picking up loose hardware on a solid floor, but not even close to the 16lb it advertised. Couldn't even hold up an empty paint can.

Purchased for picking up steel pins. It will pick them up but only about 8 oz at a time. I also wish it was water tight. Would give more stars but the magnets just aren't strong enough for my needs

This is a very cheaply made system. The magnets are weak and hardly pick anything up and the handle jams very easily if it is retracted too far.

My kids love picking up the magnetic sand and releasing it. It’s good if you accidentally spill a box of screws too. Not like I’ve done that…
