100 x THE DAILY CATCH GREASEPROOF NEWSPAPER SHEETS 10X16" / 40X25CM

The product listing picture is misleading. This will not get you the beloved, and much renowned Daily Catch grease sheets!!. Instead it contained sheets with a diagonally printed The Sunrise Times on it, again filled with articles about fish and chips. The quality of the sheets is good, the quantity a little small given the price. However the content of the Sunrise Times articles is worse and less informative than the Daily Catch - according to our children.My weekend fish and chips is getting better and better, according to the children there is no chippy in the vicinity that can match my culinary deep fried skill. Presentation is an important element of this as well. So I was very pleased with the Daily Catch grease sheets that I occasionally ordered from Amazon, now we have to grow accustomed to the Sunrise Times.Nevertheless to serve it on a traditional paper would not be appreciated by my hygiene-obsessed other half. Moreover no traditionally printed news paper has entered our house for the past decade. Either way I suspect I will soon have to order another batch.

These are great, I split them in half and line my galvanised fries buckets with them before adding fries, keeps my fries hot and is so much nicer than just shoving them on your plate. (We have to get our kicks where we can in lockdown and this made eating at home a bit less boring)My 8 year old approves!
