I needed to cut a hole in a door to install a cat door for our feral cat colony. I have never used a jigsaw before but this one was easy to use and I had the hole cut in under 10 minutes. The speed was consistent, which i wasnt expecting. I was expecting a lot of jiggle and jolts, but it was rather smooth with consistant power. Compact in size and easy store. Great tool to have and great price.

This saw is a great value for the money-- and it works well even on 3/4" plywood. Nice that it has different settings to accommodate various wood thicknesses. I do quite a few home projects-- some pretty involved-- and I have a cabinet filled with power tools. I can safely say I have tried more than a few jigsaws in my time. I actually bought this one because I couldn't find my older Skil jigsaw. Needless to say I won't be looking for it any longer either!

It's easy to use, lightweight, and costs less than competitors. Buy backup blades though, because the ones that came with it are poor quality

Used it to re size a few dozen pieces of pallet wood. Worked like a charm.

This is a good jigsaw with a few upgrades would be nicer. But for the price it is a good value if you do light duty with it. I used it to cut a few deck pieces and found that it was not the best for it. The allen screw that holds the straight edge guide was stripped so you could not tighten it and the blades would keep falling out after longer use. But a replacement was given and I will only use it for light duty use.
