Durable/Dependable Weatherproof!
I purchased this 1-inch wide, 15 ft long weatherproof sealing tape to use on a cut that was in one of my drip irrigation hoses. I cleaned the hose on the outside and wrapped this tape around it, and it completely fixed the issue. I've had the tape on for about 3 weeks, and it has not leaked or shown any signs of wear. The adhesive is strong, and it has held up well under various weather conditions. I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone needing a quick and effective repair solution for outdoor hoses or similar items.

Did its job pretty well, and was easy to work with
I had a 2" drain pipe break in the wall behind some cabinets. This is definitely something I have to fix, but pulling the cabinets out would have rendered my kitchen inop. I just needed to stop the leak to buy time to buy the replacement cabinets etc.The pipe was completely broken, in half, not just cracked, thus the leak was substantial. It was very difficult to get to as I had to crawl into the cabinets to reach it. I considered flex seal however it sticks to everything, and really isn't forgiving getting it into place. This tape isn't sticky, but it does stick to itself, and does so quit well. So it was easier to get around the pipe in order to start the wrapping process. In the end it adhered to the pipe and has stopped the leak.

Does not hold adhesion of 14 psi at 212F, but works well at room temp
Tried several times to stop leak on firewall hose of van. At 14 psi, running temps of 212F, tape wrapped 4x around 5/8" ID hose would unravel after coming up to temp. stainless clamps placed around newly applied tape finally provided temp solution. Seems like good tape; but, appeared stretched and seems to have lost elasticity when inspected after removed from 4 failed attempts. May simply not be the correct tape for the job. I've used self-fusing silicone tape previously for similar applications with great results--not the case with this application.

Great stuff!
I always keep some of this around and use it for a variety of things. It's a great quick fix for plumbing until you can fix it right. I also use it to wrap various handles if they need better grip. Also wrapping wires to clean up under desks and stuff. There are many more uses, buy it and try it out. It's good stuff!

Fantastic tape
I used this tape to reinforce a damaged water hose. The hose wasn’t leaking but the outer covering was torn causing the weak spot to bulge. I wrapped the tape over the damaged area and turned the water back on. It held the hose close to the original size and the tape sticks to itself very very well. The tape is a little difficult to put on because the out side of the tape has a clear cellophane covering to keep the tape from sticking to itself. Once on the tape sticks to itself very securely. This is great tape!!!

CLAVICHORD Seal Self Fusing Silicone Tape
Used most of the roll on a pin hole in my garden hose extending over 6 in. on each side of hole Wrapped tightly and then covered with more electrical tape to reinforce it. Unfortunately this did not work for me. The water still oozed out at the end of the wrap and this was in cool weather, not under heated water pressure.

Adhesion Good Lasts a Long Time
I use it to seal rusted portions on a wrought iron fence to keep the moisture out (after painting and filling). Seems to hold up very well as I still have some that have been doing the job for many years. I usually spray paint over the whole thing again with an outdoor enamel. The black tape is practically invisible against the black iron fence.

Too thin for repairs
I wrapped a small leak on my soaker hose, making tight, half overlapping wraps. When I turned on the water I watched a bubble form like a water balloon and then it popped. This tape is too thin, because even doubled up, it stretches out and bursts.
