I needed something for coverage of the rickety attic steps. The backs are not sticky but a little tacky and stay in place which is perfect as my 90 lb dog doesn’t move these when going up or down the steps. Very pleased with this product.

These stair treads are exactly what I was looking for. They have a sticky back, but it's not a strong adhesive. They stay in place and can even be vacuumed with out coming off. Yet you can easily peel them up and move them if you want and there is no residue left behind.

The adhesive is designed to just be sticky enough to stay, but not create trouble when you want to remove them. It’s been three days since I installed them and they’re all staying put. Even with my 100 pound Labradoodle going up and down the stairs. Just make sure you clean each step well before applying the strips, that definitely helps. I’ll report back after a while to see how they hold up, but for $40, seems like a good deal so far. One thing to note, they’re not all cut exactly the same, but the difference is very minor on the depth.

I purchased these for stairs leading from my upstairs down to my partially finished basement. Stairs are wood and had been recently painted. I just needed to dress them up a bit and give a little traction. Most of the reviews say they don't stick very well. They don't stick fantastic but they serve our purposes perfectly. If you were to run a vacuum over them, they're going to come up. I use the vacuum hose and it works fine to get the dirt, dust, and lint off. The edges don't adhere perfectly but they definitely don't slip or move. I had to trim mine down to fit the way I wanted. Regular scissors did the trick.

These stair treads are very affordable, very effective, easy to install, and look just fine--very subtle.

I just moved into a new place with stairs, a new thing for my dogs. My older one slipped on the first day and took a tumble- so I begin my frantic search for a solution. They were easy to install, no sticky, perfect fit for my narrow steps and the dogs have been confident on the stairs with no falls! 10/10!

These are ok… for now… I was under the impression that there would be sticky adhesive to attach these to the stairs but it’s definitely not sticky enough to keep these down for long. I think the only thing really keeping these attached to the steps is the weight. It’s a solid product and they aren’t bad but I definitely see the potential for tripping which could be deadly on these stairs. To summarize, they’d be perfect with a stronger adhesive substance to keep them from coming up around the edges

These treads definitely add traction for our large, senior dog - I'm sorry that I didn't order these sooner! Very easy to apply and does not leave any sticky residue. Works well on both our tile steps and hardwood stairs. Fits the narrow steps of our older home well without any trimming.

They stayed on super never moved , easy to install and I am going on 2 years with some bought another set to change worn out ones so easy to change they lift off you clean the stair and replaced and I have ceramic steps very impressed with this product…I recommend this product it makes your steps safe for people and the pets no more wet spots to slip on and easy to clean just vacuum you could lift them off and wash and replace great

I bought these because my elderly dog has been having a lot of trouble getting up and down the stairs, they have made a huge difference so far! She no longer slips and falls. The grip is ok but my other dog is younger and tends to run up the stairs, so I did use some 2-sided tape to hold them in place (he makes them slide). All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase.

I love that there is no adhesive on these. They stay in place and look fantastic. When the get dirty j7st throw them in the wash and air dry. Highly recommend these.
