The drill machine itself, despite being cheap, does not feel like it will fall apart in my hand. I have repeatedly used it until it overheated, used it at bad angles, yet it has not broken. I think they add those cheap bits simply to compete with other alternatives at this price range.Good bits are not cheap, and a full set can cost as much as the drill machine itself. It is well worth the price, because cheap bits can break easily, injuring you and the product you are working on.I strongly recommend buying better bits if you want to actually use this product.

Yes, really good product no doubt. Why I recommend 4 star, the sailors isn't very carefull about packing the product during shipment, I received damaged box, both corner, ( damaged, means not broken but majeure defects occurred) another very vital, one diamond burr bit is missing inside, but all the way , die drill and accessories is good enough for do any curving or sculptures. Decent colour, steady comfort design, in this price range this is really good quality die drill for everyone. I like this product, and requesting to the sailors please do check before delivery, all relevant matter. Need to deliver prompt product.

Build is good. Packaging is good. it's making a lot of sound and noise while operating. The brass wire brush and rotary sanding paper holder wore out after just 2 or 3 uses that too on small smooth surfaces. Wood carving bits are less. Overall OK.

Super product for student and end users

It is as described and meets my requirements. However, like some other reviews also say, two of the diamond bits are missing. The one diamond bit provided is the one with the bulbous tip, which is the least useful for me. I realized too late. Anyway, I've reduced one star for that, since other aspects are ok. It appears that diamond bits are being removed before despatch

It was working well in the beginning. But after sometime the accessories get stuck in the machine and you would be unable to remove them. The speed knob does not work any more, making dangerous random changes in speed.Even though under warranty the response from Black and Decker is pathetic.They tried to fix it one, but the problem came back.I have written many times, but no reply..A lot to my work has been pending for over a month now.What a shame..I will update this post if I hear from the customer care..UPDATE 20/12:The first time I sent it for repair (a few months back) at their authorized service centre, I informed Black & Decker technician that one of the problems was that the speed adjustment knob need repair, he brushed that away and did not bother and said no issue was there. When they sent it back the speed problem persisted and the churn would change speed suddenly while I am using it.Now, the machine is still under warranty. I have sent to their service centre exactly one month ago (Last Oct 2023).The claim that the machine problem is not under warranty. Calling and emailing countless times, with very little effective response. Now they’re are searching for a spare.I called the 1800 Black and Decker customer care to get solution form the company, they simply answer, say we will help and just give you their dealer number. THAT IS ALL. Only sharing number. No one cares their for customers. I truly trusted this brand and was willing to purchase more stuff, but their after service is so pathetic that I seriously worry I will be wasting money on this company and endanger myself.My machine is not working for the longest time. And still waiting for updates about the repair and the time they would actually sent my machine back.Truly disappointing…Their emails and phone number are useless. Just for show. The Brand name is diluted.I wish the company take a stance and be more attentive and caring towards its customers.I hope the company take necessary actions to solve my problem and the problem of many other customers.*to Be updated*
