Ok, As most people should do. I researched and looked around for a carbon infrared heater that I could use outdoors and most of the time - indoors. There are many infrared heaters on the market with varying characteristics. Some are slow to start providing heat, some are too bright, some have no remote control capabilities etc - Then there is this one from Devola! Size is fine, it's not the fastest to start on the market but provides decent consistent and quick heat with all the bells and whistles of a smart heater. It has a useful 'body proximity sensor' that detects if someone is there and needs to be warmed up otherwise it switches off after 2 minutes and back on when required. It has the 'Alexa' start up and heat options voice activated and other useful features.Couple of slight negatives - Firstly when the heat setting adjustment is turned down, the filament also adjusts brightness but starts to flicker as it maintains a lower temp.Secondly not a flaw as all wall mounted heaters have the same brackets. Just that manufacturers should look at provided some directional capabilities when providing wall brackets. I had to improvise but worked OK for me.All in all a thoroughly good buy at the price!

ProGreat heat,Easily installationConBracket is useless if you wish to angle the heater. It just points down. Wing nuts not sufficient .might swap out with nut/bolt.Remote , only way to turn on/off turn up/ down heatOtherwise it's a great heater. Haven't had heavy rain so can't comment on the IP rating.Haven't connected to WiFi as heater is out of rangeOverall happy . Got a used reasonable conditional model. Other than open packaging and small mark it looks brand new

A great little heater with a pretty big punch. Takes a while to warm up but is adequate to heat a pergola. Really pleased with it so far.Something to bear in mind, the square model comes with a remote. The oval model does not list a remote.

Bought this ages ago for a future garden project. Just unboxed it to find the remote is missing. Tried connecting via the specified app, no can do. So basically it’s a worthless bit of kit. Cheers, keep up the quality gates.

Good heater. Well made, warms up quickly and throws out good heat. Handy remote control.. overall very satisfied
