The outflow is too strong and will damage your plants, tire out any fish who aren't strong swimmers. You can't adjust it either. You would think with that much water displacement going on, that at least it would be cleaning the water...but no. All the substrate that's getting kicked up from this pump and the fish being aggravated by it just keeps floating in the water. Good Tank. You need to buy another filtering system and lighting if you have live plants. Wish I had known all this before I purchased this.
