Agstum Retro Small Round Optical Rare Wire Rim Eyeglasses Frame

I’ve been wearing these and ordering a new pair with ever subscription. I like to have back ups in case something happens to them and this way I also have extra parts for back ups. I’m not really easy on my glasses and these have done pretty good for me. I get so many compliments and inquiries as to where I got them and how much they cost. These are so amazingly inexpensive, especially for what you get. I always purchase the ones with clear lenses to keep their shape, then take them to my optometrist and they do the rest. I have many other frames, but these are my absolute favorites! This last time I went with a 37 mm instead of 41 and get even more compliments. I’m also an artist and have my own style and people always tell me they match my overall style. I’m very very happy with them and will continue to purchase them for as long as I can. It took me forever to did glasses like this. My eye doctor never has a problem with the lenses and I wear progressives, even with such a small circumference. I definitely recommend these if you like that funky little flair, durability and great price. Best of the best! The first pair with the tank top is the 37 mm and the other with the orange shirt is the 41 mm. I always get blue tint for my regular prescription… these aren’t sunglasses, they are my daily wear. Who couldn’t love these.? One mor thing, they are easy to adjust, they do not have the little nose pads (which I love), so no marks left on the nose and these do not slide down like the ones with the nose pads. They are very comfortable without them. The versatility is even great if you’d like to wear them for vintage costumes! They are lightweight, perfect choice is sizes (just be aware of the choices and the sizing in mm; you may want to go to a store and try on different size lenses to get an idea of what is perfect with you. The appearance is compared to none. These are the only ones I have found like this and am tempted to buy a few more pairs just in case they become unavailable or sell out (I seem to be cursed that way… (everything I purchase that I love either gets discontinued or sells out). They do come with a little plastic case, but really it is only good for transport and not regular use. If you have a quality case, use that, because the case that they come in is lacking, but the glasses themselves make up for everything. Do yourself a favor and get them if you really want that vintage Janis Joplin look, artistic appearance, your own style or all three. You won’t be disappointed. Out of all of these that I purchased only one pair had the arm break and that’s because I rolled over on them when I was sleeping. Take a chance… these are amazing glasses. I always get the silver or darker gray colored ones and that’s what I have on in the pictures (I don’t care for gold). These are fun to wear and you will get compliments.

Glad I found these after spending way too much for similar on another website only to have them fall apart after about 6 months. These have held up well over the past few months and are significantly cheaper. I purchased the gold frames in 39mm size, and the nose bridge is stamped "18k" so I can only assume it's genuine gold plated. The temples do press into the sides of my head and leave a mark but they are not uncomfortable. The spring around the back of my ears rest in a different spot from my last pair and were uncomfortable for a few days until I got used to them. My optometrist put my very strong prescription lenses in these without complaint or comment. I plan on picking up a second pair as backup because they're so great for being so cheap. No more scrounging antique stores and flea markets. UPDATE: I purchased these frames originally in February of 2019, and it is now October of 2020. Today, after attempting to bend and wobble the metal around the nosepiece to adjust the frames a bit, the weld weakened and the glasses finally gave up the ghost. over the last nearly-two-years the gold plating did wear off around exceptionally high-wear points like the side of the temples that touch my face, and particularly the spring of the temple piece where they curl around the ears. The glasses have otherwise maintained their appearance and durability, slowly bending to conform to my face over time a bit as well. I am so glad i had purchased my backup pair, i was able to remove the lenses and swap them over with little fanfare. I have now purchased another pair to replenish my backstock, and bonus is that I now have an extra set of temple pieces as well from the previous pair! UPDATE #2: I have received my replacement frames, and they appear to be made by a different manufacturer. While they look very similar, the lenses appear to be larger (I ordered the 39mm frames, their packaging is labeled 39mm, but the temple is stamped 40 and they seem to measure closer to 41mm). This means I cannot use them as backup frames and swap lenses back and forth. I returned them for a replacement assuming that I'd been sent the wrong product, but my replacements are the same. I'm disappointed. TL;DR: after nearly two years, they've been great and I'm buying more now.

of all the pieces that make my effete arcanist character come to life, these glasses are the BEST. look? perfect. whether you go steampunk or artificer or hedge witch or whatever, they are just enough "out of time" to sell the idea that you are, let's say, not exactly from around here. perfectly comfortable, no weight, and the wire rims hug my ears securely but with no friction or pressure. perfectly clear glass, so i can wear my own contacts. instantly one of my favorite cosplay accessories ever. they feel well made and durable, but I'll update if they prove flimsy. however they feel light but sturdy. my wife's jaw dropped when he saw how great they look. i got the dark metal, which reads close enough to black that i didn't even have to recolor them for my fit! when i have the ensemble, I'll try to remember to post a pic so you can judge for yourself.

Frame’s too small and fragile.

These are exceptional glasses. I love them. They look great and stylish. Although they look fragile, surprisingly they are made very strong and sturdy. I will buy these frames again in the future. I took them to Walmart Vision Center to have my prescription lenses put in them and they were perfectly RX compatible. These frames are the best buy I've had in awhile. Only one discomfort. The nosebridge is bare metal, and it was cutting down into the bridge of my nose. It became a bit painful. They should be made with a small rubber pad on the underside of the nosebridge to prevent cutting into your nose. I found a small rubber strip in my junk drawer and glued it to the underside with gorilla glue. Unoticeable to onlookers and was the perfect solution to my problem. Now they lay comfortably on my nose.

Didn't realize these are for little kids. The reviews I read didn't seem to mention small is not just the diameter of the lenses but frames in general. The loops of the arms didn't even reach my ears, and I'm not a large man.

These glasses are so great that I bought one in black and I bought one in silver for a friend of mine. They are magnificent. I don't know why new glasses don't have this backing to go around your ear because you can adjust it according to your ear. I recommend this piece to anyone who wants to look like they just came out of the 19th century. They are smart. They are the epitome of Elegance. I strongly recommend this product to anyone who wishes to buy a pair of glasses that does not necessarily have any prescription but to accessorize ones outfits. Perfection

Got them early and they are beautiful

I'd w/ high Rx or prism know there aren't many frame options that don't look like wearing a glass-brick or a permanent demo of Newton's theory of gravity (as applied to glasses). Fashion statement?? Ok, that's a bonus too. These and similar frames from Agstum are perfect for me. Small lenses, light wt, and the cable arms keep them from falling into my drill press or a small black hole when I'm doing weekend hobby work. Where have these been hiding?

These are perfect for my small face. There are very few frames with round lenses and wrap-around cables. They seem to be of a reasonable quality. They do need to be properly adjusted just as any frames need to be.
