I wanted tongs for my grill and for my kitchen that actually grabbed the food. I had some with silicone ends and food would always slide right out. These have some pretty pointy teeth on them that work great. I use the longer pair when I'm grilling outside and the shorter ones inside. Easy to use, very well constructed. Dishwasher safe and excellent price point.
