Worked like a charm!

The only bad thing about this can opener is figuring out how easy it is to use. I scratched my head for bit and after a couple of failed attempts finally figured out I was making it too hard. It's super easy.Just put it on the can like you would a regular can opener. Make sure the half-moon shaped ring is on the inside of the can top and the round knob is on the inside of the can's rim and turn the handle. At first, I didn't realize it was cutting the lid off of the can but it is. It's easier if you pay attention to where you start turning the handle so you know when you're done.Instructions or a picture would, I presume, eliminate the confusion but none are provided. However, just don't complicate it and it's super easy.I love that there are no sharp edges as it cuts around the side of the can, not inside the rim. When done, just pull off the top.I was a bit concerned it might be too hard to turn and it is a bit. I have arthritis in my hands and both thumbs and was concerned about that. It takes more effort to turn than someone with severe arthritis may want, but it was fine for me and I had no problem with it. I really love this thing.I bought an automatic can opener, too, the kind that walks itself around the can, but I like this better and I don't have to worry about the automatic can opener dying on me as they last one did before even a year of very light use. My old fashioned manual died at the exact same time, unbelievably, and I had to go to a neighbor to borrow her can opener as I was in the middle of cooking dinner. I never had that happen before.Anyway, I do highly recommend this manual opener.

Had it 3 years and I maybe used it 10 times. It’s broken now. Worked well about half its life, struggled the second half, then stopped tonight.

The deal seems favorable in general. However, you must pay attention that the can top may fall inside the can after using it, which might make the ingredients soiled.

It worked great the first few times now it barely works at all, I bought this to update from my 50 year old can opener but after a couple dozen cans I’m back to using that one that refuses to fail. If you are looking for a throw away product this is it but I would not rely on this to work longer than a couple months disappointed I spent extra money for an inferior product. Gears are stripped and blade is junk but looks very nice

I have used only electric can openers for years, however I needed to open an oversized can during the holidays and couldn’t. The purchase of this can opener has made ease and comfort for opening any size can.

Was a little skeptical because of the price but this did not disappoint. I have worked with computers for many years and have developed pain in my wrists and this can opener lets me open my cans with ease. No need for help from the hubby anymore, lol. So much better than others I’ve purchased. And it has a guarantee? Where if it breaks they’ll replace it, no questions asked? Yeah that’s what I call customer service. I’ll definitely recommend this to my friends and family. Wonderful experience all the way around and it’s pretty!

Good, but bottle opener faulty
