Is this suitable for a nearly 6 year old or is it more for nursery kids?

Bought for my 5 year old granddaughter she uses it a lot and loves it . Very roomy she packs lots into it.

I had it for my 2 year old. It's would cover their whole back. It was perfect for putting everything I needed in for her to take to nursery though.
