For a cheap bed it seems pretty sturdy. It took quite a while to construct but the instructions were sufficient. You need a good screwdriver because you have to screw in all the slats which took a long time without an electric one. The space underneath is quite low, but I have managed to fit 6 suitcases underneath of different sizes for storage. Probably won't fit a hard case suitcase or the deeper plastic boxes, but will fit narrow boxes. Probably won't work for storage drawers as has several support legs that would get in the way. It was well packaged. Two of the screws were missing threads but still managed to build it fine. Had a couple of minor chips and marks on the paintwork but not enough to stand out when assembled. For £85 it's sufficient. The design is nice and neutral. Doesn't wobble or squeek or anything. There are a lot of slats so load seems to be distributed well enough.

DO NOT BUY , the bed is no good put bed together went to get out of it and the bed dropped to the floor the bed was put up correctly, manufacture materials no good, was going to send back only I have to send it back and pay for it to be sent back which would of cost me half of what I paid for the bed frame to send it bk to them to much to send back so now I'm stuck with a broken bed TERRIBLE SEEVICE AND TERRIBLE BED

Really happy with this purchase!! The bed is extremely sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. If its the Shaker style you are looking for then this is the bed for you ! I'm absolutely terrible at DIY and the build took me around 90 mins from start to finish, only needing minimal help from the wife to hold the base to the headboard. The instructions are very easy to read and the pictures are extremely helpful. The only downside (if i really have to pick something) was that some of the pre drilled holes still contained some wood chipping so clearing them out before inserting the screws was a must.Very happy customer 😀

We have this bed frame for few months now. Assembling was a bit tricky as instructions included in the box were torn apart,so we had to download them. The most weakest point of the bed is in the middle as the construction consist of 2 halfs which are then assembled together using 2 long screws (on left and right side). It does the job,but all the time I sit on the bed with my child I expect it is going to break...so far it did not happen. Definitely not a bed frame for a child who likes to jump on it. We purchased pretty thick mattress which should avoid damages as my boy likes to jump on it,but we discourage him to do it. Also slats are designed the wrong way. It needs to be screwed into the bed frame and once you roll it onto the frame it comes to the points where there are other screws. So we had to adjust gaps between the slats and finally use duck tape on the top of the screws to avoid any damages of a mattress (as on the picture). Overall, the bed frame does the job,but not as sturdy as you would expect to have. For us it is the first one to try for 3 years old boy,but would not recommend for adult person to feel safe to sit on or roll on during the night (at least I would not feel safe). However,the price is pretty fair.

I needed something to replace my sons old bed (6 Yr old) but I didn't want something that wouldn't last nor did I want a massive price tag, like I had on his other bed.On a whim I purchased this one after hours or scrolling online. I have no regrets.Easy to assemble, did it myself within an hour.Looks lovely, very simple, modern and clean.My son gives it a double thumbs up which is really good and he now doesn't complain about sleeping in his bed.With the head board having a flat top, it's great to hold his water bottle and little night light and eventually I will thread football lights between the slats.Is it sturdy and built to last? I would say yes. My son is a bouncy boisterous boy and jumps around on his bed constantly, and there's been no issues at all. On the occasions I've lay in it with him, I've not noticed any wobbly or creaky slats.I have no doubt this will last a fair few years, and for the price I'd say that's a massive bonus.

My daughter picked this out for her room. I was a little unsure due to the low price . Very pleased with the quality, slightly awkward to assemble but not difficult when using the guide. Would recommend for kids/teens and smaller adults.
