Every hat my husband has ever had he has destroyed. Not this one! We ain't very big on SITKA crap as a lot is over priced but it was definitely worth it. Fits great, lightweight, somewhat breathable but he's a sweaty man, amazing material and clearly very durable.

This hat fits well is extremely durable and comfy the appearance is very nice and it’s great value for the money. The color is perfect.

Fits color is good great purchase

The adjustable snap back makes getting a great fit super easy, and the mesh back keeps things breezy during warmer weather. It feels well-made without being stiff or uncomfortable, and the overall look is clean and versatile — great for hikes, errands, or just chilling by the fire pit. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that the brim is a tad flatter than I normally prefer, and it took a couple wears to break in just right. Otherwise, the quality is solid, the branding is subtle, and it hasn’t faded or stretched even with regular use.

First let me say I love the hat and the way that it’s setup for the most part. The adjustability is great and mesh allows for dissipation of heat. My gripe is a personal preference problem. I am a fan of more low profile hats as far as height goes. This is more of a high profile hat and sits very high up, if pulled down it just looks goofy. Yes I have tried wearing it several different ways on my head, no I do not have a small head, this hat style just is not my cup of tea. I ended up making it work, but it will never be my go to hat.

Couple things with this hat...first being that it IS large. Many of the reviews I read previous to buying the hat mentioned this, so I would like to echo those sentiments. I am 6’4” tall and typically wear 7 5/8 - 7 3/4” fitted hats. There are seven holes in the SnapBack and I have five to spare; usually, I am on the last or second last hole. It reminds me of when I was young and I would put my Dad’s hats on! Second, the mesh is quite coarse and not sure how it will wear. Last, the brim and fabric are wonderful...really soft and nice to touch. I like the Gore Optifade because I have other Sitka stuff in that pattern.

Hat looks cool but doesnt fit. I have what I consider a normal size head. I own a lot of hats including many snap backs. this one fits one full finger too large on its standard "all holes" setting. if i downsize by 1 hole the tab sticks out and looks like a hat that doesnt fit.
