Sturdy and attractive - centerpiece display for family games

I gave this to my son for Christmas and he was totally surprised. He thought it was the one I have that we used to play together but I told him it was a brand new one. It is beautifully made and a treasure to keep 4ever. Something to teach my young granddaughter how to play.

I have owned and played over 20 different monopoly boards in my time, but this is the holy grail of monopoly boards. This is the board you aquire when you want the BEST! It does not fold up, and get tucked away. It's about 2'X2', x 4"-5" thick, and solid. Display it, play it, and brag about it... I DO!

Most of the set is primo luxe (disappointed that the money and dice weren't given upgrades), and thus enhances the play experience, especially for those who've used the standard board forever. The board stands really high, which looks nice when displayed, but during play it obfuscates view of what the other players are holding.

This thing is worth it. Card materials are strong, the money for the paper is thick, the prices are heavy and this an amazing center of attention piece for a man cave or game room.

Honestly a great gift to give. It was beautiful, wellade and more like a piece of furniture than a board game. That was my only problem when I gifted it to my sister as a house warming gift. The board is way too big and unfortunately she wasn't able to keep it. So if the size of the board isn't something you're concerned about, it still makes a really great gift for others or yourself. Just keep in mind that it's to be treated as a piece of furniture.

Un Monopoly de hermoso acabado.

This was an absolute hit with my boyfriend and his family. I gave it to him as his birthday present which happens to be 3 days after Christmas & since we weren't going to be home on his birthday I let him open it on Christmas eve. He was so happy with it he literally hugged it and stared at it for a good hour. He then told me I didn't even have to get him anything else for Christmas or his birthday as this was the best present he could've got. Only downside to this is that when we were playing with 6 of us we seemed to be short on money as well as hotels. I was able to go online and purchase more money for a reasonable price and my boyfriend had an old monopoly game board so we took the hotels out of there. The joy he got out of this and the memories we will make with his family playing the price was well worth it.
