Is there lead in the tin used?

The tin used for manufacturing the Plusivo wire is leadfree.

can these wires be used on a sprinkler system from the contol to the sprinkler head?

If this wire is running from the inside of the house to the outside head, I would not use this wire at all. This wire is mainly for hobby use. I would recommend a THWN wire which is weather rated or a PVC coated wire like MTW wire. However I would look up what wire is used for such a system to ensure proper operation

Can this wire be used on a breadboard or would I be better off with 20 gauge? I want to be able to poke it into the terminals.

Be warned there are several different products on this listing. They are all wiring, but not all the same type of gauge. I am ordering solid 24 gauge, which seems to be the same type and size of breadboard wires are in other listings.
