When we upgraded our dishwasher we opted for a plug rather than hardwiring. The only outlet was attached to wall switch that operated disposal. This allowed us to re-separate the two units on the outlet. Simple install, less than 10 minutes. Works one push, every time.

I’ve waited 2 months to write a review to make sure it still functions. Works great. Easy to install and a much better solution for us- instead of opening our cabinet and hitting an on/off switch every time we use our disposal.

I always had to run down to the disposal switch and then when I was finished run back to shut the switch off. I had my new faucet installed and the guy said, "Why don't you install a disposal button where that ugly white thing is?" He took off this small stainless steel cover to expose this ugly thing that he said I do not even need. I never knew about disposal plugs and not many of my neighbors did either. Well, I had it installed where the ugly white thing was, and it is just great. You hardly even see it as it's almost flat against the counter. So easy now and looks so good.

This product works great. Hard to beat the price. I had to drill a hole in the granite which was not as difficult as I thought. You just have to use a 1 1/4 inch diamond hole saw.

We bought this because we have an island sink and the builder put the switch for the disposal under the sink.The only negative is that if your hands are wet when you use it the water will run through it and come out below in the cabinet so we put a plastic tray to catch the drips... And would get if it didn’t flow through it, it would fill up with water and get nasty... Didn’t see any sealed units so keeping this one.

For the price it works well and looks good.

Relatively easy to install and so convenient, no more stretching to reach the switch.

So far so good. It's been in for almost 2 months and is holding up well so far. Installation was simple and quick. At a third of the cost of the name brand model this is a bargain.
