Love that this mat makes my cat slow down its eating. She only gets kibble 1 X per day - the other two meals are wet food. I do not smash it all down into the crevices, but leave some of it just flush with the mat. She does not bother to lick into the little grooves, so we usually have wet food left in the crevices of the mat and when it dries it's not easy to clean out. The indentations are pretty small making it difficult to pry out dried food- so we leave it soaking in the sink. If you do this watch out! It will splatter the water like crazy if the faucet runs on it, spreading water all over the sink and more! Aside from that, this is a good solution and I'd buy it again. This mat is very useful for those with cats that don't chew their food and then get indigestion.

One of my 8 yr old cats had started gulping food and vomiting almost every day. I tried feeding less more often and that didn't help, so bought Casper. In 2 wks I have had nothing to clean up!! My only thing is when they chew(dry food) it breaks into smaller pieces which fall ball into Casper and they can't seem to get to it. When I clean the fishes(I ordered a 2nd for other cat) I just pour the bits into one of their old bowls and they eat it out of there. There isn't much in bowl, plus they seem to eat throughout day, so no gulping issues. I did place fish on a tray so it catches some on bits so they don't fall on floor. Casper doesn't hold a lot so I half of each cats amt is given in their fish in a.m. and half in p.m. They do share from each others fish even though fed in different areas and no problems. I recommend highly!! Fairly easy and quick to clean

I've never used a lick mat until I bought this. I bought it to provide some stimulation for my cat during mealtime. My cat took to the mat instantly and had no trouble eating off it. This is the perfect size for a medium (8.5 lbs) cat that doesn't eat a lot in one sitting. She likes to eat often but only in small portions although I did notice that she sometimes eats a little more if I use the lick mat. Her original bowl is elevated and curved which allows me to mix bone broth or water into her wet food. This lick mat doesn't allow me to add too much liquid to mix in with the food. Some of the spaces in between are also way too small for any cat to get food out. I've played with the amounts of food I spread onto the mat but there's always leftover food stuck to the mat. I've seen my cat try to lick it all out but she cannot seem to get all the ridges which makes washing it my next gripe.The material can be difficult to wash. It's hard getting into all the little grooves and ridges. I've had to soak it in water, use an old toothbrush to wash off the leftover food, and then use cotton swabs to take out what the brush could not get. It's kind of time-consuming, especially if you leave it out for your cat for a couple of hours and the bits of her food stick to the mat.

I needed to find a way to stop my cat from scarfing and barfing. The dishes with the larger spaces in between them didn't help because she was still able to shove her little mouth in the gaps and take big bites. This little dish worked a lot better because the gaps are so small she has to work extra in licking between the grooves. I use wet food and make sure to really squish the food into the grooves. If I just plop the food on top and spread it around it doesn't work. Really pack the food in there so it requires a lot of slow licking to get every bit of food.Cleaning is easy if I don't clean it as soon as she finishes eating. I let the crumbs dry up and then spray it down with a strong jet of water from the kitchen sink. The crumbs fall out easily. A quick scrub with a sponge after and it's clean and ready to be used again.I worry about her licking the rubber too hard to start removing pieces of the rubber and eating it but I haven't seen that yet.

The product is good but not the easiest to clean, nor does my cat particularly love this.

Slows down eating of treats. Use daily. Minor hassle to clean if tube treats dry up on it.

I bought this licki mat for my cat for enrichment since I am gone for many hours of the day. I really like it and I think she does too! At first I fed her wet food in it each morning, but now I just give her squeeze treats in it. She doesn't really lick into the grooves that much though (I think she is lazy). I like the size of it and the depth of the grooves. Because she doesn't "clean it up" when I give her lick treats, there are leftovers deep in the grooves that dry on. After soaking in water for about 2 minutes the entire mat rinses clean! I have never had to scrub this mat, only rinse it.Overall, I really like the mat for it's ease of cleaning and versatility. You can smear wet food, treats, and sprinkle dry food in it.

Es perfecto para la comida húmeda, tengo este modelo y otro que se llama félix. Este es más rígido, dejando un poco el agua en remojo se limpia bien. Este modelo es más "difícil para los gatos"

Kurzum: Tolles ProduktDie Lickimat kommt bei meinen Hunden auf Empfehlung der Hundetrainerin zum Einsatz.Ich hatte die Matte für Katzen bestellt, da sie zum Zeitpunkt der Bestellung keine fünf Euro gekostet hat. Hier sehe ich keinen Unterschied zu den Hundematten und konnte auch noch sparen.Gerade für Tiere, die nur schwer alleine bleiben können oder in stressigen Situationen Ablenkung brauchen, ist die Lickimat ein Segen.Etwas Hundeleberwurst auf der Matte verteilt und schon sind meine Hunde eine ganze Weile beschäftigt.Da die Matte theoretisch zerbissen werden könnte, würde ich Tiere, die Spielzeug gerne auseinander nehmen, damit nicht alleine lassen.

A mi gata no le ha gustado. Se lo compré para el pienso, pero como las bolitas son pequeñas se quedan enganchadas y no consigue cogerlas. Es bastante pequeño: mide 22 x 16 cms. La superficie no se sujeta a la mesa, con lo cual la mayoría de las veces, me lo encuentro rodando por el suelo. Y ya la he pillado una vez mordiéndolo. Así que esperaré a que crezca y si no, lo guardaré a ver si le encuentro alguna utilidad.
