Great wading boot to pair with waders
The Frogg Toggs Hellbender wading boots have been excellent. I ordered one size up to accommodate my wading pants with built-in neoprene booties, and the fit is perfect. Recommend wearing a thin wicking sock beneath your waders to prevent chafing. The lugged soles offer great grip, and the lacing system is quick and easy—these boots go on and off without hassle.I’ve used them for kayak fishing in Florida over the past year, and they’ve held up very well. My feet stay warm and dry, even in wet or cooler conditions. Surprisingly, even during Florida summers when I wear them with wading pants in rainy weather, I’ve had no issues with my feet getting too hot.I love these boots and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, comfortable wading footwear.

Good value
I can’t believe how long these boots have held up. Felt soles are starting to come off but a few screws have secured them for another year. True to size and one of the most comfortable shoes i’ve ever worn. I will definitely buy again.

Amazing buy, especially at this price. Comfy and quick drying
Got these in a 14 which is a size up from what I normally wear and they fit perfectly over a thin pair of athletic socks and neoprene wader stocking feet. I love the lace toggles and how much they allow you to customize the fit depending on preference and foot shape. They’re super comfy to walk in-last week I went on a surf fishing trip on Cape Cod at a spot where I had to walk >1/2 mile in and out wearing the boots and carrying gear and these were amazing. I just wish the waders I’d bought with them had been so great

Good enough
Solid for the price, they fit well, are comfortable, light, durable, but the traction is good out of the water, good on sandy/gravel river beds, but not great on bigger rocks with algae

Well-built, supportive and provide great traction
I am new to fly fishing and wanted quality gear but didn't want to spend a ton of money. I found the right brand when I chose to buy the Froggs Toggs. These wading boots were an afterthought a few days after buying the Froggs Toggs stockingfoot waders. At first I thought I could wear some old hiking boots then bought some oversized water shoes. Of course neither of these worked and I learned there was a reason wading boots existed, even if it meant spending another eighty bucks. These boots are worth every dollar. They're built well, give good support and provide great traction on the riverbeds common in my region.I chose the felt soles and feel like I made the right decision. I haven't slipped yet and felt very sure-footed. It's suggested to go with your regular boot size since they have already built the extra space needed for the neoprene booties. I did go one size higher because of my extra wide width but could have gone with the usual boot size. The size 11's look like Frankenstein's boots but even with the extra space they felt comfortable for the three hours in the water.

Great value wading boots
Have walked about 3 miles so far and holding up great. Easy to use laces and fits great over neoprene booties. True to size. Decent traction. Looks good. Water drains easily. Lightweight.

Comfortable and great value
These are outstanding and a good value. Just make sure that you get the right sole for the kind of fishing you are doing or the surface you are on. If you’re on slippery seaweed cover rock, you don’t want the hard soul you want the soft one for grip. Also make sure that you go a full size up from your normal shoe size because you need to fit the waders inside. Then they feel awesome.
