Buy the lights but leave the extension behind
Lights look great even though I haven't really put them outside yet , but dont get the extension amazon recommended as it's useless for these lights .Why they recommend it hell knows it's not compatible with the mains plug part .Amazon please look into this matter as I ordered as recommended only to send extension back .

Disappointed
Just recently hung them around the decking area... stupidly I attached them to posts before checking the lights worked,,, having said that when you buy a product you expect them to work perfectly... 6 bulbs at least were flickering then went out... I used the 3 replacement bulbs and ordered 6 more... I have replaced all flickering bulbs and have no spares left... 2 more are now flickering that's nine bulbs already... the string lights have been up 5 days they do look good but I should of returned the product very disappointed...

Great warm light
Great warm light, far better than previous solar lights I had which didnโt really provide any useful light. I placed a waterproof box inside my gazebo to provide power. A WiFi socket means I can switch on and off from an app. Only 25 watts for the whole thing so itโs basically 40 hours for 1 unit, very cheap to run. Very happy.

Work great, good quality.
Lovely lights. We wanted something to go around our window outside at Christmas but also ones we could use for various occasions through the year. These are perfect as are not too bright that you can't look at them but are certainly bright enough for a lovely display. They seem sturdy and well made. We have had them up outside for a couple of weeks with no problems. It is very useful to have a few spare bulbs. We will use them for BBQs etc in the future too.

Great Set Of Lights
We've had a bad patch of rain this summer... was going to doubt these lights lasting out through the rough weather.... but no I couldn't believe how well they lived through out the bad weather I even power them on when it's raining โ at night for the lovely effect you receive with the rain bouncing down on the ground all lit up... They light up my whole garden I even stand outside the back window and say to my partner... look its like Love Island out here!.. she then shakes her head and says don't be daft ... so I pulls a lighter out my pocket and light the flame ๐ฅ... I say hey what about now! ๐... she nods and agree's that's more like it ๐.....I can't complain about these lights I've only had trouble with 1 bulb ๐ก and been nearly running em everynight for about 6 hours a nite for nearly 2 months now the only reason I changed that fault bulb coz it looked a bit dimmer than the rest... you get 4 free bulbs to so nothing to complain about yet. I don't run these on normal electric I hook them up to a car battery using a invertor and they even survive on that... so they're a good set of quality lights in the long term... Though anybody hooking them up to normal electric supply is that I'd say that the lead is very short from the plug to the first bulb ๐ก so you have to get some kind of waterproofing ๐ฆ in place if you decide to get a extention for them. other than that I can assure you that it is a good purchase.

Really Nice
These were ordered to replace a similar product which had some non replaceable failed bulbs. This product came with spare bulbs and produces a decent amount of soft lighting which looks really good. The only small snag was a very short cable from the plug to first bulb. I wanted longer and noted that there seemed to be. a standard connection on cables for this type of light so added the cable from the old set. Then discovered they look the same but have enough difference to make them really hard to connect. I have not dropped a star for this as the product itself works as intended but there are many cables, splitters, etc showing this type of connector but maybe the standard is a little loose.

Not for use outdoors if exposed to the elements !!!!!!!!
Bought 4 sets equaling 100 x 1 watt bulbs for outside use .!!!!Please do not buy if the lights are to be exposed to rain.!!!!!Mine have been exposed to quite a bit of rain during May 2021 in North Wales .I switch them on ( last night )and 6 of the 100 bulbs did not illuminate and 3 flickering , and as a previous review commented about fizzing , yes my experience too as water is getting into the bulb holders. They have only been up 2 weeksI have removed one unlit bulb and sprayed WD40 into the socket , dried the bulb screw connector and replaced. To my surprise I could see daylight through the cable socket , no way are these water resistant .I replaced the bulb and it again worked .I have ordered some M10 rubber washers to place around the bulbs .My plan is to remove the bulb and dry the bulb screw , WD40 the socket place the washer onto the bulb and replace. This will keep the water getting in that way , but now I will have to smear some silicone sealant on the top surface of the bulb holder to stop water getting in from that way , I believe to be the root cause of the problem.Itโs a pity really ,because the lights looks great and give a good lightSo buyer beware ๐ฆโ ๏ธ , buy cheap buy twice !Maybe I should have sent them back but Iโm a sucker for punishment but also reading the 1 star reviews , the supplier is not forthcoming on customer service .

Simple string of mains led lights
These lights were a little expensive but they are well built and you get spare bulbs that are a nice small screw in type. The light from them is not over powering and also not too dim like many solar lights. The image is a bit brighter than actual as the phone over exposed the image when taking the photo. The bulb holders have clips so I used small round screws in hooks to place the lamps.I also added a 10K 10W resistor in series and it dims the leds well and will extend there life, used a SONOFF 4ch switch to have full, sim, and offI would recommend themHope this helps
