WARNING: Wood Filament will NOT print with a 0.4mm nozzle. Can look amazing with post processing.
Lets address the elephant in the room: this wood filament will clog your 0.4mm nozzle (default nozzle for most fdm printers) over and over again without fail after just a few layers no matter the temp or print speed. However that is quite normal for wood filament. I swapped to a 0.6mm nozzle and it printed smoothly with only a few blemishes and no clogs after printing over an entire spool. With small prints or mechanical parts this filament can be quite brittle, I wouldn't recommend printing anything small with this filament as it breaks very easily, even from just removing supports. Stick to a few walls with 40% infill and your prints should be very tough.Off the print bed this filament is quite nice as shown in the owl picture. However if you sand it down with 120 grit paper, it looks really convincing. Once sanded you can apply a few coats of woodstain to give it an extremely realistic wood feel as shown in my finished wizard staff print (printed in 8 pieces fitted together). Applying woodstain to a non sanded print will look kinda naff though im afraid. With a bit of post processing this filament can look amazing. I highly recommend this for any kind of wood prop if you are willing to put in the work to clean it up.All printed on an Ender 3, I found 190C and 55C bed with a 0.6mm nozzle worked best.Bonus points because it smells amazing while printing.

Great wood filament for fantastic results.
A great wood filament. Looks and smells like wood when printing.Sands and stains like real wood. Can sometimes cause a jam in the nozzle that can be a bit tricky to clear. But by far one of the best wood filaments for the price.

Nailing down the settings for this filament
Everything seemed good about this product apart from the adhesion, which caused me a lot of grief. One of the attached photos shows stringing, warping, the final piece ended up next to the printer with a lot of spaghetti around. That was the best print I had to date, having tried so many variables.Took a while of playing till I finally figured out some settings/changes that were required to get this to stick down properly for the 3D printer (see other photo). After that, the filament is great to use. So hopefully this may help someone...Ender 3 v2 with glass platform and BL Sensor, using Cura for slicing.Magigoo on glass platformThe printer is inside a semi enclosed space; no draughts, good maintenance of temperature0.6mm brass nozzle - I tried using a 0.6mm stainless steel nozzle and it didn't go well!I had checked the clearance of the nozzle to printer bed before printing (offset was -2.64, but this will be different for each printer)Checked the tension in the beltsCura settings were modified for Generic PLA and 0.6 mm nozzle:Layer height: 0.2mmLine width: 0.6mmTop/bottom thickness: 0.8mmPrinting temp: 190 oCPlate temp: 60 oCFlow: 100 %Print speed: 40 mm/sInitial layer speed: 20 mm/sZ hop speed: 5 mm/sFan speed: 100 %Initial fan speed: 0 %Regular fan speed at height: 0.4 mmBuild plate adhesion type: brimThis gave me really good prints with this filament (see other photo attached). I cannot report on water adsorption on standing. I pack the filament away each day after use and I've only had it about a week. With a 0.6 mm nozzle, I haven't experienced any clogging. I tried a stainless steel nozzle, but this made things worse - probably need to further adjust parameters. On the whole a good product, once you nail down the settings for your printer!

Super finish wood PLA
Excellent adhesion and superb smooth finish. This is low temperature wood PLA so be careful and observe manufacturers recommendation for bed and hot end temperatures

UPDATED PRODUCT, different results
I previously used a full roll of Sunlu wood filament and it was great.HOWEVER, I ran out so ordered a replacement of what I thought was the exact same filament from the same company and it's totally different. The new one is darker and more shiny and just looks like normal PLA as opposed to wood PLA.Disappointed because now I have a full roll of stuff I won't use.

Not very woody
Smells a bit like wood, but when printed out, it's very shiny. It has a brown colour but that's about it. I had better experience with a different brand.

Very weak filament do not buy
Bought to print some wood effect play tiles, they were so weak they broke under the slightest pressure, and not just a little broken the layers all separated the print pretty much disintegrated. Printed at 15% infill the print looked totally fine no issues on looks, but no structural integrity when compared to the exact same print using a different brand wood filament.A 2 year old roll of wood filament from a different brand printed much stronger that's the opposite of how that should be.I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because it printed well on a 0.4 filament nozzle so if you are very careful when holding the print it might work for ornaments but if you think you might need to sand and stain the final print it will not be able to handle even the slightest pressure.

Looks great after staining
Before staining this filament is nothing special, it does feel a little like wood but the whole print is a flat beige colour. After sanding it down with 180 grit and applying a light coat of dark oak stain it completely transforms the filament. I have had no issues printing with this filament using a 0.6mm e3d nozzle and would highly recommend it.
