Cat say meh
My cat is weird and doesn't really use it, but that may be because my dogs scare him off. That being said, I love this activity tree. It was pretty easy to put together. My only real complaint is the second level on the left post is a little small and I have a big cat. He doesn't seem confident about getting up on that platform. If I put him in the box at the top, he's happy to chill out there for a bit.

Beautiful but it has its flaws so be prepared
Ok, so I was looking for something like this. I needed something that would save me space but would be enough for the kitties to play & relax, this fit perfectly. It's very beautiful to look at & very well made, assembling was simple enough to a degree but you will definitely need another pair of hands to assist with installation to the wall....Now, the nails that come with it are BAD! very weak & don't hold well. We had to use wall anchors after we noticed that one of the boards was coming lose everytime my cat jumped on it.It became huge concern for me as a pet parent because they could end up getting hurt & destroy the wall in the process.. The nail anchors secured it in place & haven't had that issue since. My second complaint, the boards are slippery, my cats didn't take to it at first as I noticed they were struggling to grip at anything as they tried to climb to the top.Thankfully this was another problem I was able to solve by adding stick on furniture pads to the wooden surfaces. After that was put on place, the kitties had no issues climbing, jumping & enjoying their new tree. The design is beautiful, the idea for space saving for people who live with limited spaces like myself is great but it definitely had its flaws that need more working on. Overall I am very very pleased with it & what's more important, they love it!

Creative use of this set
I actually combined this tree set with pieces from another tree to make a little Playland for my cats. I will say that similar to other reviews, the surface of these shelves is way too slippery. For example the high box on top of the scratching post is almost impossible for the cat to climb into because once they get up to the top there's nothing for them to grip on to to pull themselves up. I bought a cheap sisal mat that I cut into two pieces and I screwed that onto the surface of two of the shelves to give some grip. I also bought two short posts to use as little stepsI think for the size and design of this cat tree, it's much cheaper than other comparable items. If you get this and just invest in a $10 sisal mat, I think any cat would be delighted. And as you can see, if you want to get creative with the pieces, you can tweak the design to whatever you need.

My kitty approved it
My kitty loves it! She has been using it over 4months now. It is strong enough and never broken any parts.

A bit Unstable But with some mods, the cats love it
Overall, I’m happy with it. It took a couple weeks for the cats to get into it. I put it up so high so they can get away from my dog so I did t have room left to build the box. The box thing wouldn’t have been used anyway I don’t think. The boards are very slippy so I added adhesive felt furniture pads onto each one so they can get a good grip. Negatives are: cheap hardware specifically the dry wall anchors. Cheapy plastic. First kit I got was missing important hardware so they had to send me a replacement. The very top platform isn’t sturdy.

Seems well made
Overall it appears well made. There is a little give between the wall and product once mounted, it would have been a better design if the back board extended past the shelf part to help offload the weight. The hardware is clean and strong, not garbage. The instructions were pretty bad, they mislabeled most of the shelves for the 2nd part. No guidance was provided on mounting. I did not realize the bottom shelf of the larger have was wider on the right than the top shelves, which cause me to mount it further from the wall then I planned. I worry a cat will accidently slip between the gap of the box and the wall and hurt itself. As another user stated, this really needs matting on the shelves to keep your cats from slipping and being hurt.

One Con
Sturdy, well made, modern. Wish the platforms had some traction. I hot glued a sisal placemat I cut.My cat uses it now and then, but was hoping cat would use it frequently. For reference, my cat weighs 9lbs.
