Great game!
This is a really fun game for those who like to build and strategize. Everyone gets their own board, which is a fun unique feature. The way the dice are used was interesting and the variety of things to build and use kept things going. I played it with my two teens and they loved it. I also bought two expansion packs (Crossroads and All that Glitters) which added a new resource (gold) and a lot of new buildings. Definitely like having those but they aren't necessary at all. Younger kids or someone who prefers not to have a lot of things to remember/work with probably would get lost and not like this game.

Super fun game for family and friends
I had seen this played online a about a year ago but put off buying until recently. This game has instantly become a family favorite. You can play this aggressively, attacking your opponents or more like a competitive solitaire, where there are some shared items you are vying for but you are really just trying to make the most of the rolls you get. If you do go the attacking route, it really isn't that brutal and the cost to attack your opponent isn't really worthwhile. We don't attack each other and the gameplay is just as good and honestly more fun as a family. All this to say that this is a great game, don't delay and get it today!

Easy to learn and fun to play! We love this game.
I've played this with adults and with kids - it's easy to understand, quick to learn, quick set up, and easy play but there are so many options on your turn that figuring out your strategy prevents this "simple" game from being boring. Arrived quickly and in perfect condition. There are some expansions available once you get the hang of the base game. Normally I shop at local game stores, but this game was very hard to find so I turned to the internet. I am very happy with this purchase.

Goes directly into our family's game rotation.
Since I'm not a big fan of rolling dice, I was hesitant to purchase this game. Though the rolling of the dice is what dictates the choices you have to make, the game has such a variety of choices to make your not really confined to one or two options. It seems to me to have an Imperial Settlers "feel", but not as time consuming. This game boards are very high quality with thick cardboard pieces and overall the illustrations are great. The cards are small, but they have to be in order to fit on the player's board. With each player having their own board, you will need a large table to have room to play. I would say the 14+ age range is too high. I feel my children could have played this game as early as eight years old. This definitely goes into our game rotation and I think it is price just right for such a quality made game. Having said that, the expansion is overprice for what you get, but I bought it anyway. I would buy any future expansion available.

Great family game!
This game is a lot of fun. We are a family with five kids, ages 2-12. Granted, my 2 year old doesn't play these games (well, he tries to), but my 5 year old does. And we are always on a search for games that we can play as a family. This is one of them. It's called a "dice-crafting" game, which means that as the game plays out the dice faces change in that they affect different areas of your city. In fact, because the dice roll is involved, there is an element of luck, which makes the playing field a little more even, and since this a family game, it's exactly what we wanted. Yet another great game for family time!

Light but good
It is a good light dice game. Not my favorite dice game, but it has a decent mix of length and complexity to make it good for family play or as a gateway type of game.

I pulled it out and found the game play to be easy, the art is up my alley
This has been on my shelf for ages. I pulled it out and found the game play to be easy, the art is up my alley, the component quality is outstanding and we are pleasantly surprised at the sheer joy during the engagement. Our gaming group will now add this as an accessible go-to game when we have new members at the table. I like it better than Kingsburg. Waaaaay better.

Dice City
Great game. Played it once at a con and ordered it right away. Plays very well with just two players. Easy to get into but offers a nice level of strategy and decision making. They is very little down time as you are deciding what to do with your own dice when it's the other players turn.

We are big fans of Settlers of Catan and games where you build up your infrastructure and resources to win the game -- and this game doesn't disappoint. I have played it about 6 times now, and I'm still thinking of different strategies and combinations of strategies to try out. One of the best aspects of this game is the minimization of conflict. The mechanics don't have a lot of aggressive moves against other players. There are some, sure, but they are "gentle" attacks on another's game. We've only had the correct guess as to who's going to win 1/3 of the time. A good friendly, family game.

Very fun and easy game that I highly recommend getting although the instructions don't really explain the building cards all that well except if you try to combo certain ones together. Amazingly fun and easy game though tbh. Great quality player boards, dice, and building cards. I took the resources from my extra copy of Stone Age because this game comes with just cardboard punch out versions.

Some people will love this, some will not ... its not a very interactive game, there's too much downtime and not enough dice-rolling. The components themselves were nice.
