The EDUP Gigabit PCI Express Network Adapter is a highly functional and efficient product. The adapter was relatively easy to install on my Windows 10 PC and provided reliable and lightning-fast internet speeds through the Ethernet port. The IEEE 802.3x flow control feature ensures the smooth and efficient transmission of data.Drawback of the EDUP Gigabit PCI Express Network Adapter is that it does not come with a driver CD, which means users need to download and install the driver manually from the manufacturer's website. This can be an inconvenience for users who are not tech-savvy and may have difficulty finding and installing the correct driver.

I bought the 1000M version listed here.Installation in a Win 10+ environment couldn't be simpler.It comes with instructions for driver installation BUT, if you have Win 10 or later, don't download and install the driver.The instructions tell you how to locate, download and install the driver before you physically install the card but then, right at the end, say not to install the driver if you are running Win 10 or later.So this is a very simple install process with Win10 or 11.The card is a perfect fit in my quality PC case.So I had none of the difficulties experienced by some reviewers physically fitting this card.I've uploaded a couple of photos to show the nice fit in my "fractal design focus 2" case.So in it went and Win 10 recognised it within seconds after booting up.Performance is great too.Amazing value at around £13!The build quality is lovely and I like the nice touch of including a screwdriver to help with changing the bracket to the included low profile bracket if needed.Very pleased with this purchase!

So I build a PC every single thing is BLACK so I buy this black card it's not it's flipping silver ! I have had to use it as I needed to finish build today it works fine just not what the description shows

Works in Win10x64 no probs - 'Realtek PCIe 2.5GbE Family Controller' - 'Driver Provider: Microsoft' - 'Driver Date: 10/04/2015' - 'Driver Version: 9.1.410.2015'Works in PFSense no probs - '2500Base-T <full-duplex>'As far as I'm aware, works in VMWare ESXi-6.5 / 6.7 using a 'custom' driver someone in a forum compiled...DOESNT WORK IN VMWARE ESXI-7 OS, BUT YOU CAN STILL 'PCI-PASSTHROUGH' TO VM'S IF YOUR PC MOTHERBOARD SUPPORTS THAT FUNCTIONALITY !!!!!!!!!!VMWare 'upped' their kernel, 'etc', so now many cards - ESPECIALLY REALTEK 'CARDS' - dont work in ESXi-7 OS !!!This card is an awesome card - I have 2 PC's directly cabled / linked / joined together, and no probs !!! :)APPARENTLY THERE MIGHT STILL BE PROBS WITH THE DRIVERS FOR 'USB3-2.5GB-NICS', SO IF IN DOUBT, AND YOU'VE GOT A FREE 'PCIx1' MOTHERBOARD SLOT, DEF BUY THIS CARD... AND 'CAT-7' RJ45 NETWORK CABLES !!! :)There is another 2.5gb card on Amazon that I've seen - its got a large 'red' heatsink on it - but I think the heatsink on that card might be 'too tall' for one 'case' slot, unlike this card... and perhaps 'overkill' aswell, depending on how much traffic your shifting, and how hot the card gets, etc... good little card easy to install and pushes up to 1gbps :)

This EDUP Gigabit Network Card (NIC) was purchased due to the main motherboard network card of one our PCs failing, so we needed to replace it. The NIC arrived quickly and on time (as stated by the seller) and Amazon kept us informed during the shipping process as per usual.We followed the instructions (provided) on how to download the drivers for the NIC before fitting the card in the PC.Then we fitted the card. It did not work straight away as the PC had to recognised the new piece of hardware (running on Windows10), so after a PC restart and running the Windows network diagnostics tools a couple of times to confirm ethernet was running via the new hardware, it started working. I only received it a couple of days ago and so far so good, it is working as intended.Useful things are that the NIC was delivered with a spare CAT 6 RJ45 cable, a different smaller adapter plate (for small form factor PCs), a couple of spare screws (if required) and a small phillips type screwdriver, which amounts to a really comprehensive kit to make sure that one can successfully fit the card!! :-)

Quick delivery, good price and recognised by W10 straight out of the box. Handy to have both the full height and half height back-plates together with mounting screws. Got me out of a jam when my new motherboard LAN driver could not install on Windows.
