Surgery recovery
Purchased to replicate a piece of equipment used by my occupational therapist after trigger finger surgery. Seems to be working fine and fingers seem to be strengthening.

Best Bang For Your Buck
I'm so happy I found this product. It saved me from having to buy the Clinic Set (four times the price). You get one plastic gripper mold with interchangeable rubber bands that provide four levels of resistance. I bought this for a family member who had a stroke. It has really helped strengthen the fingers on their effected hand. I like playing with it too. It made me realize how weak my pinky fingers were. It's a little awkward to use at first. For best results, don't insert your fingers too far. Great product!

Works Great!
I would have given it five stars, but out of all the rubber bands in the package there are only two green ones. And I would think that would be the most popular. I was using this model in PT and it had a green band. All the other ones are too thin and easy. I still recommend it tho.

Naturally Strengthened Hand, Avoided Dr.'s Needle
I bought a bunch of equipment to keep up my occupational therapy at home and this is one of my favorite pieces. I suggest this for anyone who is having problems with: hand grip, numbness/tingling in hands, or wrist pain when pressure is applied to hands (ie push ups). I have carpal tunnel & ganglion cyst in my wrist. One doctor told be to have the cyst drained, the other suggested the therapy. I'm happy I went with the therapy. Strengthening my hand has relieved nerve pressure on my wrist and reduced the size of the cyst, it's all but gone now. This is a great alternative and natural way to strengthen alling hands/wrist.

Not for small hands

This works great for me!
People saying that you can use a rubber band have obviously not tried using this device to it's full potential. You have the ability to isolate each finger by putting the thumb inside the middle hole or putting other fingers in there and isolating the thumb. Having a device (I carry it in my backpack with my snacks at college) reminds me to do the exercises instead of a rubber band which would just get lost somewhere and forgotten about. I also use the Progrip exerciser for flexing exercises.

Worked really well after broken finger
My physical therapist recommended this, in addition to a squeeze ball, to tighten the tendons in my hand. I didn't realize you don't really have muscles in your hand, it's almost all tendons. My broken finger healed slightly curved when I closed my hand. This device worked great, and I've used it some on my other hand as well. Note the PT was selling this ("at their cost") for $50.

Works great until the bands decay
This is a great product, but it does have one flaw that is preventing me from rating it higher. I have owned this for 3 weeks now and I just had the first medium (red) band break on me. After 2 weeks, the band started showing obvious signs of fatigue and began cracking. They do include replacement bands, but with only 2 additional ones at the tension I need, it will force me to try and find a rubber band that works somewhere else in a month or so.
