45L -XL size fits large bulky sleeping bags
I bought (2) 45L compression bags to fit two bulky sleeping bags. One of the sleeping bags is rather large and bulky; the other slightly less so .The 45L works great for these and added to their usability as they will be easier to transport or store. The larger bag fit without any difficulty. The smaller sleeping bag had room for a travel size pillow after loaded. I'm able to easily compress them down from their rolled size. The compression bag materials have a durable feel and the interior appears to have a water resistant coating. All stitching appears to be good quality. However, being on budget end of equipment, I'd recommend not leaving these stored exposed to sunlight and over stressing the stitches by trying to gain to much compression. That said, I can't say these won't perform any better than more expensive bags. Overall a great value that adds usability to (2) of my low budget sleeping bags.

Too much negativity in the reviews about a good product.
I bought this 2 pack as a gift for my son and grandson's summer trip. My grandson grabbed the sleeping bags out of the garage and started to shove the sleeping bags into these storage bags. He became frustrated and said they wouldn't fit. My son told him to relax as loosened the storage bag straps and unrolled the sleeping bags. He straightened and flattened them out. Within a couple minutes my son had the first one sleeping bag rolled up tight and easily slid it into the storage bag. My grandson had a little harder time rolling the sleeping bag up tight but in a short time got it to slip in the storage bag with little effort. On their 3 week trip though the mountains of South Dakota they ran into rain. They said these bag covers were a good present as they kept the sleeping bags dry long enough for them to find shelter and keep the sleeping bags out of the rain. My son did say that these storage bags would not keep the sleeping bags dry if they fell out of the boat into the lake or left outside in the rain for several days.

Space-effective and cost-effective
These did the trick. We have 2 bulky winter sleeping bags and, over the years, we lost the stuff sacks they came with. I was worried these would be too big but they were perfect. The sinch straps are very effective, and the criss-cross pattern makes it really easy to squeeze out all that extra air.

Good for the price and functional
So far so good. Worked well for packing sleeping bag into it and for a test purposes we were able to pack a lots of other things inside ( blankets, heavy sweaters, other cloths and so on), and it did well. Durability and life span it remain to be seen, but with care it should last long time. Price wise was a good deal as well so we are happy with this purchase.

No complaints so far.
These meet the intent. The straps keep everything compressed. Time will tell how long the stitching lasts. That's typically my greatest concern. The pull cord (cinch) is not great on this. It does the job but it does not work smoothly. You must fiddle with it or the fabric bunches up before it is fully closed. It's not a big deal. The easiest way to use them is to step on the bag to use your weight to squeeze it first and then tighten the straps. Don't try to use the straps to squeeze the bag. That's how tears happen. I got the 24L just to hold a poncho liner and it does that will room to spare. The price is outstanding for a pair!

XL Fits My Coleman Green Valley Sleeping Bag
A few weeks ago I bought a new Coleman Green Valley Sleeping Bag and wanted to fit it back into the box after using it and noticed I couldn't compact it enough for it to go back into the box. The thin string attached to the bag was also useless so I decided I needed a compression sack. I bought a XL 46L compression sack because it seemed large enough for a 'normal' sleeping bag and I was right. While I'm still not able to put the bag back in the box it came in, my sleeping bag is about half the size it was just using the sad compression string (!) that came with the sleeping bag. I am a very satisfied customer and am I am glad I purchased it. No one paid me for this review.

Does the job
I bought these and the XL while on deployment. Having to move from site to site I realized quickly that compression sacks were a must. These held so many clothes that I ended up only needing one and packed the other. Side canvas is thick, some are a softer material with this one being more stiff. Straps are pre-attached and do the job. The XL model was able to fit my very heavy sleeping bag, which I was having trouble finding a bag for.

Good bag still need to roll things tight
Like the build quality. Note that you still have to roll up the sleeping bags as small as possible to get them to slip in. I think this is by design they want things to compress small. Well with a bulky sleeping bag you will have to roll it as tight as possible and push and squeeze even in their largest size bag. But, it works. With the effort the solution is clean and you will have headspace in the bag for a pillow or other items. Good quality and nice bag, just still need to work to roll that bag tight.
