I like these threads - the colours are great, and the box they come in is ideal. I would give them a five-star rating except that about six of the spools I have opened (so far) have had winding issues where it was impossible to find the beginning of the thread, and once I did find it, they have jammed at the bottom of the spool and caused thread breaks in my embroidery machine. That being said, the shine and rich colours are great - and the price is more than reasonable. Will I buy them again? I am not 100% sure quite yet. I have added a photo of some of the colours stitched into floral designs so you can see the threads in use...

This thread works quite well in my Brother SE 400 sewing and embroidery machine. I was skeptical at first because it is so cheap at less than $1 per spool but I wanted to give it a try anyway. I haven't had any problems at all. It stitches well and my designs look really nice. I was buying one of the 'cheaper' brands at my local chain fabric store which have twice as much thread as the embroidex thread from Amazon but each of those spools cost about $6.50 each. It takes two spools of embroidex thread to equal one of the store bought spools but I still come out saving a lot more money buying embroidex from Amazon; that means I have money to order more! The pic is a shirt I did with the embriodex thread.

I have used this thread to make curtains by hand and in my two brother sewing machines that are NOT embroidery machines and it works well in them. It doesn't jam my machines and it is a durable thread my projects are still as beautiful as the first day they were made. And it's a great value for the money!! 40 spools and SO many colors to choose from!! You can not go wrong purchasing this thread.
