No , I wouldn’t repair it , I’d replace it, Eve the battery replacement is too difficult.

Are batteries included ?

Yes. It is a rechargeable unit with the battery sealed inside. We play 5 eighteen hole rounds most weeks so we find the unit only lasts about 12 to 18 months before it no longer works for the full 18 holes.

Does this actually work ? I know support will be lacking, so i wanted to be sure it worked. ?Can you see yardage also, some are bothered by sounds?

YES. I love my golf buddy. They do wear out after several years if you don't lose it first. It is a quick way to see how far from the pin you are. My husband uses his to see how far his drive went, etc. They do work.

No score function at all. Does a good job with distances to the front, center and back of each green, as long as you don't stray into the wrong fairway
