I live in an area where the tap water has a strong chlorine "pool" smell and lingering concerns about PFAS. After getting tired of refilling a pitcher four times a day, I upgraded to the Waterdrop 10UB. For the price, the peace of mind and convenience are unbeatable. The Breakdown: Filtration Performance: The difference in taste is night and day. It effectively removes that chemical chlorine aftertaste and is tested against NSF/ANSI 42 (for taste/odor) and NSF/ANSI 53 (specifically for lead and PFAS). Unlike many basic filters, this one actually targets "forever chemicals" (PFOA/PFOS), which was the main selling point for me. +1 The "11K Gallon" Capacity: This is the workhorse of under-sink filters. Most filters at this price point give you maybe 2,000 gallons. At 11,000 gallons (roughly 12 months of use), you can use this for drinking, cooking, and filling the dog's bowl without constantly worrying about "wasting" the filter life. Installation: I am far from a plumber, but I had this up and running in about 15 minutes. It uses push-to-connect fittings that are basically foolproof. The kit includes a dedicated brushed nickel faucet, which feels much higher quality than the plastic ones you usually see. Pros: No Waste Water: Unlike Reverse Osmosis systems, this doesn't waste a single drop of water and doesn't require a bulky storage tank taking up your whole cabinet. Fast Flow: Even though it’s filtering out lead and PFAS, the flow rate is solid. It fills a 12oz glass in a few seconds—no more standing around waiting for a slow drip. Space-Saving: The filter is slim and vertical. I still have plenty of room for my cleaning supplies under the sink. Cons: Does NOT Lower TDS: A common misconception is that this will lower your TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) reading. It won't, because it leaves in healthy minerals like calcium and magnesium. If you want 0 TDS water, you need an RO system. Dedicated Faucet Required: This specific model (10UB) comes with its own faucet. If you want to connect the filter directly to your existing kitchen faucet, you should look at the 10UA model instead.

I genuinely don't typically leave reviews, but this was a big move for me, and I'm really glad I chose this one! Despite my just general confusion about installing new products, this product was extremely easy to install and the instructions provided were quite helpful. I do have some very basic plumbing knowledge, but even someone without it could absolutely install this! I really appreciated the fact that they included an adapter for the line that connects to the wall supply, because that would've been a hassle trying to find myself at the hardware store. The water tastes great and definitely is better than straight from the tap here. Worth the buy absolutely!

I purchased the Waterdrop 10UB Under Sink Water Filter and overall it’s been a good buy. The water taste is acceptable and I can notice an improvement. One thing I really like is the water pressure and flow rate — it delivers a strong, steady stream and doesn’t feel slow. Installation was also straightforward. Everything I needed was included in the package, so I didn’t have to buy any extra parts. On top of that, the color and material quality look great and match my current sink setup nicely. Overall, it’s a practical under-sink filter that’s easy to install and provides solid water flow.

This unit was very easy to install and all the components are of great quality. The manual and instructions are fairly thorough and all the parts you need are provided. The water tastes great, and has good water flow to it. The finish on the faucet matches our existing faucet and it is easy to clean. It even comes with a filter change reminder alarm. We did have an issue with the system when all the sudden the water would stop flowing after a half second. We went through several iterations of troubleshooting with customer service over a few days and ultimately it was determined the filter housing was defective. They sent us a complete replacement unit and once installed the issue was completely resolved and we have been using the system for almost a year now with no issues... And now I have spare parts of needed. I will say I was extremely impressed with their customer service. They were prompt, knowledgeable about their product and very helpful. This is very rare nowadays, so I'm sold on the customer support and how they stand behind their product. I would highly recommend this brand and this unit to anyone.

Sturdy, functions ok EXCEPT full force water does not flow down, its flow is several inches forward. Thus it over-shoots the cup or whatever. Good for a pot or whatever sitting in the sink, be ware when filling your class.

This thing was easy to install and improves the taste of water compared to the tap. I live alone (everyone point and laugh) and it lasts me about a year with frequent use (had it for ~1.5 years so far). Love this thing as an avid water enjoyer.

Packaged. We'll. Everything was included as advertised. Instructions were easy to follow. After installation Tested. And. Wow. What a difference in taste and smell. Of tap water. Definitely recommend this product for the price ease of installation!

Okay so my wife and I have been water snobs for years. We just can't get around it. We used to have a really nice well system in our home of 20 years and although you could drink the water and it was just fine for the most part, us being picky, we ran an eight stage Reverse Osmosis System for 19 of the years we lived there. We hit the road full time in an RV and for 3 years traveling the country we came across some crazy water test that was considered in the area to be good drinking water. Well, I'm here to tell you as a water snob what people are dealing with in other parts of the country could be a lot worse then what's you're used to. So, we had a four-stage filtration system on our RV to help us out with everything we came across but, there were still places where we would get water from the dispensers at the stores. We hung up our traveling shoes and move back into a home that has some of the best city water that we've experienced throughout the entire country which was a shock for us. It was almost perfect across the board except for one thing, the slight Taste of chlorine. Now I didn't want to get into another big huge production like we did in our last home and go with some form of a reverse osmosis system as I felt as if the water was so good in the first place that I really didn't want to filter out all of the solids that are considered good minerals for your body that the water in our new home is offering us. All we want to do is remove the chlorine taste. So we took a chance with the single filter system and I'll have to say that it did exactly what we wanted. It made our 90% good water 100% great water. The added bonus was that the installation was extremely easy. And I have never had the Twist Off filter Replacements like this system offers and I am actually looking forward to changing the filter when it comes time as it's a simple half twist to remove and reinstall the same way. So, don't hesitate if you have really decent water and you're just trying to clean it up a little bit more but you're worried about keeping the good minerals in your water. This filter is the best thing for the money that I can find that will get you really close to that.

Waterdrop claim this is quick and easy to fit, and they're right. Everything you need is in tbe box and connections really couldn't be simpler. It's a quality product and not much more money than a good filter jug. Mine has the separate tap, and I really don't see why you wouldn't go for this option. Without the separate tap, you filter all your cold water supply. Most will go into the washing machine, dishwasher or straight down tbe drain. The filter in tbe smallest unit is claimed to be good for 8,000 gallons. That's about 20,000 kettles, but filtering all the water is going to dramatically shorten tbe life of tbe filter. The tap system is only £10 more. Very silly not to go for it. The water has lost all its chemical taste and the tea is noticeably better. I wish I'd found this years ago!
