I own The lyx pro pencil condensors and they are fantastic and a bargain at 99 bucks ! These are just as good and the price??? Crazy , The shock mounts alone are worth the price and they are built like tanks ! You cannot go wrong, I am using these now as drum overheads recording my youtube covers. I am extremely Happy with them, Great Job Lyx Pro !! Best bargain anyplace ! They even come with XLR Cables ! Get these you will love them !

I bought the kit because it had the shock mic holder. Only received 3 of the 4 pieces.

I received the LyxPro Condensor Microphone (model 7000XLR) as part of a bundle with the Mackie Big Knob. While the Big Knob works great, the Lyx mic does not live up to any professional standards. I was hoping to use this unit as a backup for voice recording but I don't even think it is good enough for that as there is this thing picks up a ton of noise.If you are on a budget or desperate for a microphone this might work, but it is far from a "professional" product as it states in the description.

Using mine for recording songs I've written(hobby)

Bought this as a back-up mic for our outdoor sound system (for acoustic musicians), but the quality is far superior to our original mic! Sadly, it is a bit heavy for the gooseneck on the mic stand, but we've found a workaround. Very sensitive, great sound quality!
