Quality went downhill
This was the third pack I bought bc I loved them. However I will never purchase them again. The scratch pad fibers break apart from the cellulose sponge after one use. I am not sure what changed bc they used to last me weeks but now they barely last a day. Such a disappointment.

Small sponges, falls apart easily
Another update: After another week or two the sponge is completely falling apart. I will be returning this for sure.Update: after using the sponge for two weeks it’s showing major signs of wear and tear (see photo). I understand that these may not last as long as the leading brands but it should last longer than 2 weeks! I’m debating if I want to bother returning this since I’m still within the return window.————————These eco friendly sponges look good and work pretty well. It is important to note that they are smaller than the standard sponges. Previously I was using the blue scotch brite sponge that is sold in bulk at the local super store and these are smaller and takes a little getting used to. For example, it doesn’t completely wrap around knives while washing because of its smaller size. It would be helpful to add product dimensions for transparency.I do love the way these look, it’s subtle and not a big blue eyesore like the old sponges that I was using & I love that it’s biodegradable and natural.

Falls apart
I’ve been using this product as a subscription for a few years. Our last two deliveries the products were not the same quality. They two sides separated as soon as they get wet, and the sponge side disintegrated almost immediately. We thought the first time was a fluke, but when the second delivery came and it was the same we deleted the subscription.

Not bad. Small and easier to hold and break in. Scrubber works great. Sponge is very absorbent.
I always bought Groves walnut sponges. But they have gotten a little too eager to saturate their marketplace with too many products so I let my membership go.Near $5 for two from Grove. These are smaller sponges. They last as long and are definitely as durable to me. I've had no odor and no falling apart issues. At this price, one a week (they last longer than this though) would be fine with me.The one very used sponge photo'd was used daily (hand dishwashing) for 2 weeks. That was my first one used and I wanted to see how long I could push it... Still mildly abrasive and absorbs as much as when first opened. It just got ugly and I didn't want to see it constantly on my counter looking like that.I toss the used ones in the washer then keep them for cleaning, garage/shop use, veggie washing in the garden...Not bad sponges at all.I will purchase again.

Great for reducing plastics, but not very long lasting
I really wanted to love these, but they're just okay. With a few minor improvements, I think they could be great. I've moved away from the standard petroleum-product based green and yellow sponges for years now and have tried a great many things in that time with varying degrees of success. After my local grocery delivery stopped carrying the Twist sponges, I gave these a try.The size is a bit smaller than conventional sponges, which is a double-edged sword—one the one hand, it's more nimble and can get into smaller spaces more easily, but for larger items, it takes a few more passes to cover. I have not used the two different scrub materials and have only used the lighter one, but of the 2 sponges I've gone through both have had the scrub side peel off and separate from the sponge side in a very short amount of time (we're talking days). We started using these beginning of January, and in 5 weeks, we're already on our second sponge. Our first one started tearing across the middle pretty quickly and we continued to use it as best we could—despite it flopping open like Pac Man—until it finally fully split into 2 and even then we continued to use the smaller piece for nearly a week, so that gives you an idea of how quickly ours are wearing out. We are very careful when wiping down anything sharp so as not to cut into the sponge, and we actually only use the scrubbing side sparingly as we use steel wool for heavier jobs, so we're not exactly putting these guys through the wringer, and they're still breaking down quickly. I suspect this is an issue across all natural sponges, but Twist did a good job trying to mitigate this by actually sewing down the scrubber to the sponge, which I'm sure helped it to stay on longer and also helped the sponge itself hold together longer. If it were more durable, this product would be a winner, and I'd totally rebuy, but as it is, I'm a bit on the fence and would definitely consider others to see if I can find something longer lasting.

Good for the environment
These are some of the best sponges I have ever used, and they last a long time.

Used to love these…what happened?!
I’ve been using these sponges for the last several years and have loved them. I just opened a new pack that I received, got one sponge wet and it immediately fell apart. The white sponge part broke apart like toilet paper and it immediately separated from the the scrubbing part. I thought it must be a fluke since I’ve never had this issue before. The whole pack did the same thing. Super disappointing! They had a good thing for a while.

Honestly great
I have reordered these many times and cannot say enough about how well they preform. I love that they can be thrown into the compost as well. Tick every box for perfect!

NOT COMPOSTABLE - MADE WITH polyethylene terephthalate (PET)
These are advertised as compostable (which is why I bought them) but when I received them they list PET as one of the main ingredients and say that they go in mixed waste. Yes they are slightly better than Scotch Bright as they are made with some natural elements but they are still going into the garbage. FALSE ADVERTISING.
