The top is of laminated wood, but the sound is good, and a laminated top can resist changes in temperature better than a solid top. It has bindings in the front or top and the back. The fretboard has bindings, and the fretboard is made for professionals. The frets do not cut the hands as you move the hands through the neck up and down.
