Buttery smooth, high quality.

The Chaos XS 40 is a great reel! Super smooth with the 6+1 ball bearings. With the 5.3:1 gear ratio it pulls in larger fish with ease. 18lbs of drag to back it up. The drag is very smooth and works very well. Build quality is also very well designed with higher end materials. This is a very welcomed addition to my rod and reel collection. For this price you will not find a better reel of this caliber.

Smooth Reel!

This reel is actually super nice. It casts very well, the retrieve is smooth and the drag is quality. I have similar reels that cost twice as much and they aren't as nice as this one. This is the third Piscifun reel I have purchased and they are all great reels. I'll be getting more!

So Far, So Good!

Just bought this for my husband as a birthday gift and so far he loves it. It seems to be very well made with hardly any plastic parts. The real test will be when we go camping/fishing this weekend. I will update if needed.

Amazingly smooth casting.

This reel was perfect for my channel catfish gear. It is small enough to perfectly fit my Ugly Stik GX2 Medium Action casting rod. First time out using it, I was impressed on how smoothly it castes, and how smooth it retrieves the line. Got the skunk out of it this last weekend and caught a 3 pound channel catfish. An amazing reel for the price, and great for catfish. Will buy more.

BEST VALUE IN FISHING, PERIOD!!!

Well made reel. The crank arm is a bit awkward to rotate because I was forced to buy the left handed. But for what you are getting you cant beat the price. PISCIFUN is literally the best value in fishing. It is a fact. The quality matches brands that cost twice as much. Their rods are superb as well.
