4 Layer Stainless Steel Lunch Box

I had to return this item. One latch was really finicky, and often sprung open unexpectedly with disasterous results. And when it did, it really sprung - fast and furious - was lucky not to have a body part in the way! Also, the handle was not centered, it was lopsided - so I donʻt know if I got a bad one in the bunch, but sure wasnʻt impressed!Love the idea - but this particular tiffin is poorly executed.

I was on a mission to find the best way to transport the massive quantities of food I like to have throughout the day, and this lunch box was just the thing.I like to have several snacks instead of big meals, mostly fruits and vegetables, which can take up a lot of space! I used to cram a bag or backpack full of awkward sized tupperware that were a nuisance to transport and clean. The 4 layer stainless steel lunch box has more than enough space for my needs, and is awesome because it is so easy to clean! (There is only ONE lid to clean because each bowl forms the lid for the bowl beneath!) There are no sharp edges, no places for food to get stuck or caked in. Also, due to the compactness, it is quite good at insulating.And to top it all off, it is quite the conversation piece. I've had one older woman come up to me as I was carrying it around who said "That looks just like my lunch box from decades ago!!" My coworkers too have all come up to me and asked about it, fascinated.So there it is. Functional, durable, spacious yet compact, and awesome. I use it every day and love it.

I really wanted to be excited about this lunch box and for the most part its ok but mine had quite a few defects in it which are not bad enough to return but kinda disappointing on a NEW product. My bottom layer had numerous dents in it and the whole thing had deep scratches scrattered here and there on its outer surface. Also one latch is excellent and feels very secure but the other has a little play in it. All in all i would certainly purchase another and recommend them to my friends for both work and camping, however, i would hope the company gets more strict with quality control to ensure everyone gets a nice shiny lunchbox vs a disappointing, dented and scatched one.Not sure how it was so scratched though since the whole thing came well packaged and even covered in a nice burlap bag that you can use to carry the box around in. Also... To anyone concerned this thing is "huge" rest assured, it takes up about as much space as a typical lunch box. I tokk a picture of it next to a 11x14 canvas for scale. Hope this review helps some of you.

Wow, each bowl is incredibly spacious. I didn't believe people in the review section when they warned of this. You can truly carry a substantial amount of food in this, folks.I love how clean this product seems, because it's all metal and no plastic. No stained scratch marks or cracks.I often take the top portion with the lid with me when I go out to eat or to an event with food. Its the perfect size to carry along with me but still fit quite a bit of food. Not airtight and definitely not able to be carried by the handle when full of food, but it's still very handy, considering I also got three more containers that snap together in the same package!The only thing that brought this down a star for me is the faultiness of the clamps. They do work, but they are pretty difficult to shut/open at the same time - and if you don't do it simultaneously, one of the bowls often collapses into the one below it on one side. Then, you have to unclamp the side that clamped, realign it, and try again. Maybe I'm just uncoordinated, but I have had to do this a few times at a time many a time. I don't have kids, but I wouldn't bother getting it for them if I did.Still overall a great product. I like that I can use the top as a to-go container, and the whole thing together holds enough food to last me through a day of work (or even a picnic with friends!)

I received this item today and was so thrilled that it had finally arrived. I couldn't believe what I saw when I opened the bag. I was sadden to see not only scratches but RUST in the inside and outside of the tiffin. My husband and I really wanted this tiffin, not only because it's a green product, but because it was perfect for our family of four. Sorry but will be returning :(

I have sifted through many tiffin boxes and decided to take a chance on this one. While I knew the dimensions of this tiffin it was a bit hard to visualize. It is in fact very roomy and probably more than I need however I could always use one of the tiers for napkins, condiments and perhaps a piece of chocolate or candy. The tiers fit snuggly yet not so much to make your food go flying all over when attempting to open it. The tiers do not have dividers though that could easily be fixed with a few silicone cupcake wrappers. The dimensions of the tiers are about 5.5 inches across and 2 inches tall (approx.) and stands about 7-8 inches when assembled. It does fit in the To Go Wear 3-Tier Cotton Carrier Bag snuggly. It is not leak proof. If you want to get a better idea of what this product looks like head over to YouTube and search Clean Planetware tiffin and there is a video that helped me see it in action. As this product is new to me I can see no problems with it however if after repeated use I find there are issues I will be sure to post them here

My tiffin is smaller than I was expecting, I thought that the measurements were saying that it would be 9 inches horizontally and it is 9 inches vertically. It also arrived without the bag that everyone else got and is scratched and the locks are a bit wonky. Mine also has significant scratching on the bottom AND states on a sticker on the bottom that it is from "The Dairy Shoppe" NOT clean planetware...??????

I purchased these as a Christmas gift for my sis-in-law after she sent me a link on a story about lunch boxes and commented on how much she liked them. By the time Christmas rolls around I'm sure she will have forgotten all about them and they'll be an even bigger surprise!They're very compact, appear to be well made and I'm very happy with the product.
