I like these grips a lot. I've always been a fan of wrap-style grips and have used them all over the years... The golf pride, the winns, etc. These feel a bit different from the others. They're made in two separate layers, which gives them a softer feel, and a bit more give between the wrap type layer and the inner layer. They're very grippy and sticky when they're fresh. I've played 2 rounds so far, and I like them. They seem to perform fairly well even when my hands are sweaty. I also like the price... They're less expensive than other premium grips. The one complaint I have so far is installation. Because the inner layer is fairly rigid it can be difficult to put these on with solvent alone. I ended up switching to using a compressor to put these on, with a little bit of solvent in the grip to soften it up. The first couple of attempts I had with just solvent, which is how I've always done grips, got stuck about halfway down... So beware... Probably just use air to do it.

I’m pleased with my purchase. The tan leather look makes my drivers stand out, and the feel is just as nice. Not as flimsy as some other grips, and they install easily. With flimsier grips you have to work them on, but these were sturdy enough to push from the handle. Made it much easier to get set. The feel is soft without taking away much response at all. The grip is tacky, but not sticky and they really allow you to keep your grip tight throughout your swing, which always helps with consistency and a better day on the links. If I hadn’t recently replaced the grips for my irons I would have ordered a full set of these. Very good value and an upgrade from my old grips.

Not only do these look great but they feel great as well. Took a lot of the fatigue and pain out of my hands. They wear daily quickly but for $7 each and a few minutes to swap out they are awesome.

I normally use Golf Pride grips but I may bought this grip because it doesn’t have a big logo. If your driver has adjustable loft the grip logo moves every time you adjust the loft and that bugs me. It isn’t an issue with this grip. It does provide a good cushion and I’m sure it’ll serve the purpose. Now the negatives: it is only available in one color and it’s not a color I would have chosen. Basic black would have been better IMO. Also, as others have mentioned, it’s a very tight fit. I’ve regripped many clubs and this one is tight! Ample solvent and a regripping tool make it do-able but I can understand why others have had problems. Finally, it is oddly shaped. It has much less taper than either Golf Pride or Lamkin oversized grips, being smaller in diameter at the butt than its competition and larger in diameter at the shaft. It’s still a decent grip and worthy of 4 stars. I might have given it 5 if it had More color options.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought these because I liked the throwback leather look of the grips. I had no problems installing btw. However, durability is terrible. After less than 10 rounds, wear is showing and some of the grips will need to be replaced. One of the gray versions wore out after a dozen strokes at the driving range Absolute crap!

Top tier grips.... debur your shafts. Thats why people are having trouble and tearing them. They are a little on the tight side but went on for me without any trouble and are the most comfortable grip I've ever felt. I ordered the oversized and wow. What a difference in the feel and control. Major upgrade from tour velvet's.

My club ripped through the side on stall. twice. Im not the best grip installer but its not my first time and this one is the worst to install. Its bendy and rips easy(ish). I still used it half installed with a hole and its comfy tho. wish it went on right it would be really nice

I've installed all kinds of grips before and these are by far the most difficult grips I've ever installed. The hole to slide over the club shaft is too small. I had to use so much force to slide the grip over the shaft that my entire workbench shifted. I installed two of these grips, and the second one kinked because I was putting so much force on it to get it onto the club. I will NEVER use these grips again.
