My mother turned me on to this device, and I don't know how I lived without it! It is super easy to use, and completely works every time. I have small hands and even with all the tricks and rubber grips, I often have trouble opening lids. Sometimes I have literally thrown things out because I failed to be able to open them and they went bad. No longer! It is intuitive, grips strongly, gives enough leverage to open anything. Especially for women having to depend on someone else to do such a basic thing, or living alone, or anyone with hand pain, this opener is indispensable. I highly recommend that every kitchen have one!

I got one of these as a gift this past summer and love it! I have bad rheumatoid arthritis and it has gotten more difficult to open jars and bottles, and this is a perfect product! I've had to ask others to open bottles and jars for me until I got this opener and now I can be very independent on this skill once again! I loved it so much I bought one for both of my sisters and a very dear friend for Christmas gifts this year! They claim they love it too! Great product! Would definitely purchase again should this one wear out!

I bought this to open jars but you can't open the opener any farther. It only works on small jars. I'm very disappointed, the jar I can't open cannot be opened with this jar opener.

This is easy for my husband with Parkinson's and arthritis to use, whereas traditional leverage openers are not, and it adjusts to different sizes better.
