Car Sun Shade for Medium Size Auto Windshield. Blocks 99% UV Radiation, Protects Interior and Keeps Vehicle Many Degrees Cooler

This sunshade fits my 2015 Kia Soul perfectly. This is only sunshade I saw with the wire support measuring less than 27" diameter; while these types of sunshades do have some flex in their wire support, I'm very happy to have found one that doesn't require squishing it vertically to make it fit my windshield.I had a similar sunshade years ago for a previous car and it made a very noticeable difference in keeping the car cooler on a sunny day. I don't know what happened to that old sunshade, but I was happy to find a "replacement" to fit my new vehicle at a great price. I've no doubt this will perform just as admirably (it's a sunshade after all; it blocks the sun... they all basically do the same thing and should all perform similarly well).It compresses down nicely to fit inside its storage pouch, which I can then slip into door pocket.Aesthetically, I would have liked to have purchased one of the custom fitted sunshades, or even the OEM Kia sunshade, but I can't justify spending three to four times the amount for something which really isn't going to perform any better than this. $14.98 and free Amazon Prime shipping (at the time of this review) is very hard to beat.I would have preferred the silver side to be plain silver without the "SunRay Shield" branding, but that's just my OCD and really can't be qualified as an actual complaint.I'd like to thank the other reviewers, and specifically aloha lady.

The good thing is this shade fits my car, a rather tiny Alfa Romeo 4C. One advantage of the round hoops instead of the rectangular hoops of the two-part spring shades is the hoops can expand entirely even though I have a dashcam mounted to my windshield behind the rearview mirror. The rectangular ones have to be bent into a weird shape because the corners want to be where the camera is and they leave a larger opening. For those trying to pick a sunshade style, I went with the springy type because they fold into a much, much, much smaller footprint than the accordion-style cardboard shades. I literaly do not have space in my car for an accordion type shade. This one folds into a neat little bundle about 1' x 1' x 1/4" thick. I can thus slide it between the passenger seat back and the firewall where it's totally out of sight without compromising passenger leg room too much.The reason I ding it so much is because of the huge advertisement printed on the shiny side. I should have paid more attention to the pictures before buying it. I have what I consider a beautifully designed Italian sports car. I don't want to mess up its looks with a gaudy, colorful ad on my sun shade. So I'll have to buy yet another sunshade (my fourth) in my attempt to get the perfect one. Unfortunately, this one isn't quite it.

I love this shade! I am so thankful for it because we live in the south and we don't have a garage or any type of shade for our car, but this helps to keep the car significantly cooler for me and my son.The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars (I wish I could've rated it 4.5) is because it's a bit difficult to situate properly for it to block the entire windshield. Thankfully, I measured the windshield of my 2008 Honda Accord before I selected a size. My car definitely needed the large size (I almost bought the small since I don't have a large vehicle), and it probably wouldn't hurt if it was just slightly larger. Although it can be a bit cumbersome at times, it is still MUCH easier than accordion shades. Great for the price! Fairly easy to put up and take down! Keeps the car much cooler!

This sun shade does what it's supposed to do. You'll notice it more if the shade is directly blocking the windshield from the sun vs the sun hitting the car from behind. I have a 2016 Subaru Outback and got the large shade works perfectly. Another reviewer mentioned that when purchasing the larger shade, the wire rounds end up around 29". I didn't measure mine, but it is the wire rounds that make it fit better on my windshield rather than just relying on the extra fabric at the ends. It's a noticeable difference for the fit of the windshield (for the better) but it is also very noticeable when you try to fold it up. Oh well. The sleeve that the shade comes in for storage needs to be a bit roomier. After opening it the first time, trying to put the shade back in the sleeve had it stretching at the seams for the opening.

I watched a few videos online to figure out how to close the shield since there is no information on the company website. Easy enough once I tried a few times. I cut off the elastic band because it arrived frayed. There is NO WAY it will fit back in the bag that is shipped in once the shield is used. I plan to use store the shield in a canvas grocery bag when I'm not using it to keep it from springing back open since I removed the frayed elastic band. Overall, can't beat the price. The shield is large enough for my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica van. It has a chemical smell to it so I'm airing it out in the garage before I begin using it in the vehicle.

According to the picture the internal ring is 29.5'' in diameter. This is an important feature to know if you have a large windshield which most SUV have. However, the actual size of that ring is a only 28.5". One inch may not be a big deal but as mentioned, for typically SUV this is not big enough hold the shade in place with the car's visor. For reference, this is too small of a 2013 Honda CRV.Another this to note is that the material is very thin. This is good for being thin when folded but could rip easily if not careful with.No, I did not receive this product for free or at a discounted price. This is a real review based on actual, unbiased product experience.

This is a good sunshade. The one I ordered is too big, but it still works. I was very concerned by everything I read that it'd be too small so I ordered up. I'm glad I did though. It's not so much bigger that it doesn't work. My car sat in the FL sun in a parking lot for a week and you could sure tell the difference it made when I got back.
