Not like other toys in the market
I've seen my fair share of building blocks throughout the decades and I gotta say this brand is clearly a work of passion. Upon receiving and opening the box, I noticed that the container itself becomes a stand for the ship. That was the first of many signs that this toy was going to be much more than what I paid for. Next up, the pieces. The plastic feels strong, like if I were to step on one in the middle of the night I would let out a cry of pain strong. I admit it's a strange way of measuring the quality of plastic but when you hold a piece in your hands, you just kind of get it. The core parts are a lot heavier than I expected as well. Concerns. Several parts and pieces seem to have a sharpness or an edge to them while others like the hexagon plates that appear on the base build's sides definitely have the potential to snap and break if handled recklessly. Now, I am not saying they are fragile, quite the opposite. If you were to step on it, I'm sure you'll get quite a loud snap. As for the edges and blades on the build, they are finer than the edge of a credit card. With that said, it is nice to see a company take risks with their builds as a step towards having more faith in the average consumer to be smart about toys. To sum it up, it's got a sick design. Clearly a lot of love and passion when into this line. I hope to see more!

Incredible value, toy with play and replay ability.
This line is absolutely incredible. A line of buildbale modular spaceships is exactly what we needed. Kids and adults a like are sure to love snapships. Each individual piece feels and looks nice. The lids that double as stands are a very nice added bonus. I can’t wait to see more for these line and playmonster.

Cool Item overall
some pieces a little difficult to get together but once there are quite sturdy, nice appearance and versatility. I like the top of the box can be used as a display so there is less waste. though options to use as display are a little limited at least with this model I will have to see about others as I add to the collection

These are so cool
I bought a few of these for my nine year old son’s birthday. He spent hours assembling them by himself and he got great enjoyment from the process. Each ship can be configured in various ways, which keeps it interesting. The parts are robust and won’t break easily. The only downside is the tiny figures that come with it. I imagine they’ll be lost soon. Also, if you have little ones in the house, the figures and projectiles could pose a choking hazard. Overall. These are great for boys around 9 and up.

Another fun Snap Ship set.
Quick/easy 15 minute build. Very cool looking and "evil" bad guy ship. One thing of note--the default build covers up all the bottom peg holes except for one on a angled rear part. This means if you mount the base pillar on that hole the ship points upward on a angle, instead of resting horizontal, like the others. You can, of course, simply leave off a bottom panel to keep a peg-hole uncovered for the stand.Otherwise, it's another cool build.

Fun to build
The kids really enjoy building their own ships. Lots of fun options.

Surprisingly well made
I took a chance on these and they were quite a hit! My 9 year old loves them. If your kids like building things, but want a break from Legos, try these. You can take them apart and combine and rebuild them many times. They're surprisingly well made. As a bonus for parents, they hurt a little less than Legos when you step on them.

Worth the Wait!
Saw these at a trade show years ago and thought they were brilliant. I've been waiting to buy some and this was my first set, hopefully of many more! I absolutely love the design and process. Popped on a YouTube video and snapped this together. I need them all, now!I'm trying to find a fault so this seems balanced, but I guess the only negative I can think of is that I didn't buy more and have to wait a few days for the next order to arrive.
