Practical Holder if you don't need more than the essentials
The XLAB Mini Cage Pod works as described. Once I found out that the Half Ironman course I was racing had a bottle exchange, I decided to rear mount this item to my existing XLAB P-Cage single bottle holder. I use a Fizik saddle and the P-Cage mounted well to it. I read some reviews about the threaded top of the Mini Cage not being sufficiently strong to stay on the bottle (I disagree). I also read reviews that noted this item being launched off the back of their rear holders along with its contents (don't see this happening but...). I decided to buy the item because these reviews seemed to be the exception rather than the rule and the cost was not prohibitive for such an elegant solution to holding vital repair equipment. That said, I took some precautions to put my mind at ease. First, I placed 2 levers, 2 co2 cartridges, a multi-tool and one tube in the fleece baggie that comes with the mini cage and screwed the top on. The items just fit which is good because there is no movement, shifting or rattling of contents while riding. I then used one layer of electrical tape to seal the two parts together, leaving a "tab" for easy access should I need to use the contents. One digression here - there are always people in these types of races who do need to change a flat, so you want to be prepared if that person is you on raced day or if you are training far from home and out of cell range! As another level of protection, I secured the bottle to the P-Cage using 2 black rubber O-rings that gripped both the bottle and the P-Cage support (one on top and the other on bottom). This thing will never be launched to the ground and will never leave me in a bad situation. I would recommend this to any cyclist/triathlete.

Top Popping Off? You don't have to stay at a Holiday Inn Express to figure that one out
I have one of these on both of my bikes. It's great. To those who complain about the top popping off- cheese and rice, it took me 5 sec to realize you should run a strip of electrical tape over the seal to avoid that. Problem solved. I sincerely doubt you haven't done something more unorthodox to your bike already. Besides, this isn't your water bottle- you're not going to be opening this pod more than once every year or so. I've reused the tape three times. If that solution escapes you, you probably shouldn't be riding on two wheels. Or leaving the house. Just sayin'..

works great, only room for essentials.
Fits perfect into my race bottle cage on the TT Bike. It is kinda small and only fits a tube, two tire levers and a few Allen wrenches. You could probably stuff a CO2 shot in there too. It gets 4 and not 5 stars because the walls of the bottle are pretty thin and soft. I get it that this is likely a weight saving feature, but its pretty squishy when I put it into the bottle cage. I like it a lot however. It locks in tightly and I have no fears of it launching during a race. See photos.

Good solution, not great, needed to be retrofitted
Loved it at first, then in my last ride, it popped out of my cage twice. I tried to think about what was different. I think it was tied to the weight of the leatherman tool I added. Seems that the extra weight loosened the cage and added to the momentum leading to the launching of the pod. I have removed the tool and zip tied the cage. Seems very tight now, so I can't give this more then 3 stars since I had to retro fit my cage. Overall I still like this as a solution to having a bag under my seat. With a dropper post on my MTB, having a bag there was not working and this holds everything I need.

Do not buy! Lid does not stay on pod! Faulty design.
Do not buy! The lid does not stay on. It literally fell off during my first ride using it.I was very lucky that I’ve noticed halfway into the ride before anything fell out of the pod. There is clearly a problem with the threads not tightening nor sealing.Update: I bought the pod with the zipper from the same maker and it works way better. It even feel like it has more space because you can open it down the middle. It cost a little more but totally worth it.

Very light weight, terrible cap design.
The felt bag is a nice addition to keep items from rattling...but in all honesty, you could just use a sock to accomplish the same thing. The issue here is the cap, it pops off easily with any kind of applied external pressure, or if it is tightened too tightly...which is not tight at all. Great idea but terrible design, which is sad because it was the perfect size for me. I could fit a spare tube, a set of levers, my multitool, patches, and my Dynaplug mini pill.

Excellent product for tri's!
For those that are saying A. it pops out over small bumps must be off road with it, and B. It does fit 2 16oz co2 cartridges, one tube, two tire levers, and the pump unit for the co2. I ordered a second one for the other side of my x lab rear wing to hold 2 more tires and one more co2 cartridge. I have 3 flat repairs available now for the AZ Ironman coming up in two weeks. The Xlab Gorilla rear wing snaps right over the top of the Pod and no way its popping off or out. I actually have to push it from the bottom of the cage to get the Pod out. Pics prove what I fit easily in the Pod.
